Hearing Rumours (For Nolee)

Nolee smiled, "Everyone blames McMahon. Now, lets get out there."

"Of course we blame him, he's Vince." Brian grinned. He took a deep breath and nodded. "Ok, I'm ready...I think."

Nolee nodded, "Well...I don't think we should hold hands if we go on out there, us supposed to be in a feud and all..."

"Oh...right..." Brian said, letting her go. "Ready to go then?"

Nolee nodded, smiling, "I'm ready if you're ready. Lets take care of them, huh?"

Brian smiled nervously. "Ok. Before I change my mind."

Nolee smiled as they walked out to the ring together. She stood outside of the ring, eyes on the ramp as she intently waited for the group she had seen talking in the locker room to head down to the ring. Mostly, she just wanted to make sure that Brian was safe.

Brian took off his jacket and handed it to one of the ringside guys and began nervously pacing the ring, keeping an eye on the ramp. Now that he was out here, he was worried again.

Nolee watched as Abyss' music hit and he, along with a few others, stormed to the ring. She recognized Ken Anderson (though she knew him as Ken Kennedy), Jeff Jarett (who had a long time ago been her fathers tag team partner), and Bubba Ray Dudley (who looked meaner than she remembered). She looked at Brian and nodded before turning back to the others and looking tough.

When the others came out, Brian stopped worrying, instead focusing on beating them. He stared at Abyss, hating him, which was something Brian didn't do often.

Nolee looked over her shoulder at Brian, nodding before she raised her fists, ready to fight the others off if they came anywhere near the ring.

Brian stepped away from the ropes as Abyss came and got in the ring, expecting him to attack before the match started. He backed away and leaned against the ropes on the other end of the ring, looking at Nolee and smiling before the match started.

Nolee smiled, the others on the outside of the ring unsure what to make of a girl blocking their path.

-towards the end of the match-
Brian ducked under one of Abyss' punches, only to be kicked instead. He fell over in a daze, the kick having been hard enough for his head to collide painflluy with the ring.

Nolee looked over at Abyss and Brian and, after seeing his head connect hard to the mat, ran into the ring. She stood defensivly in front of Brian, her eyes narrowing at Abyss.

Abyss laughed at Nolee, not thinking of her as a threat. Instead of moving her, he just went to walk around, thinking nothing of it, being the jerk he is.

Brian had rolled over to the nearest ropes and was slowly trying to stand.

Nolee growled, jumping onto Abyss' back and locking him in a vicious head lock. She hoped that it would take enough out of him so that he wouldn't go after Brian.

Abyss hadn't expected to be jumped on and put in a headlock by a girl and stopped, trying to get Nolee off.
The others he'd bought to ringside weren't sure of what to do, not really wanting to hit a girl.

Brian stood up, leaningheavily against the ropes, still dizzy. He watched Nolee with a small smile, trying not to laugh at Abyss.

Nolee growled as she brought Abyss to one knee, "Promise not to hurt him and I'll let you go." she growled at him.

Abyss just growled back, trying to push her off still.

Brian was still leaning on the ropes, not looking forward to letting go of them after the hit his head had taken. He slowly sat down, leaning against the nearest ring post.

Nolee growled, not letting go. "I told you I'd-" she grimaced as she heard Hogan's theme hit. Great, her first day on the job and she had already pissed the boss off.

Abyss stopped trying to push Nolee off, freezing out the sound of Hogan's theme, unsure of whu he was coming out to the ring.
Brian barely even noticed.

Hogan narrowed his eyes at Nolee, "Miss Lacroix, it's not wise of you to get involved in matters you shouldnt."

"This isn't fair to him!" Nolee shouted.

Hogan growled, "It's his job. Now get out of the ring or next week you'll be the one fighting Abyss."

"I don't care," Nolee growld.

Abyss finally got Nolee off, gently pulling her off and putting her aside while she was distracted by Hogan. He stood and noticed Brian, who was sitting in a corner of the ring.
The guys he'd bought out with him were all watching Hogan, standing around the ring as if it was a Lumberjack match.

Nolee growled, rushing in front of Brian again as if to protect him. She couldn't let him get hurt, especially not by these losers. She turned her back to Abyss and mouthed to Brian, "When I say run, run as fast as you can through the crowd."
