Life As He Knew It (Open)

John sighed, shaking his head before turning to the waiter. "Can I get a bottle of wine please?" He asked, the waiter nodding and fetching the table a bottle of wine.

Randy sighed. "You arent getting wasted so you can puke up your food, either," he said, taking a sip of his Coke.

John glared at him. "I'm not gonna get wasted. I just want a little buzz to take the edge off." He muttered as the waiter poured the wine in his glass before he sipped it.

Randy sighed, running a hand over his bald head. So much for a happy reunion...

John had half a glass of wine, but that's it. He had planned to get shitfaced, just to annoy Randy... but this was the first time they were together in two weeks, and John felt guilty for ruining it. He glanced at Randy, snaking his hand into his and pushing the wine glass away, silently asking for forgiveness for being such a brat.

Randy smiled softly at John. He could never stay mad at him. "I love you," he whispered in his ear before kissing his cheek..

John smiled. "I love you, too." He whispered before joining the conversation at the table, lightening the mood, his happy aura putting a smile on everyone's face. Another one of John's talents; making everyone happy. He made everyone laugh and stole the spotlight in a way only John could. He missed his friends almost as much as he missed Randy.

Randy smiled as he watched John. He was beautiful and his voice was seductive and his kiss intoxicating. John truly Amazed him.

John turned and saw Randy staring at him. He chuckled, kissing him on the cheek before going back to whatever story he was telling. But his aura completely changed when the waiters brought the food over.

Randy sighed as they set the food down. He glanced a John, frowning slightly. He knew that John didnt like this. But he needed to get better.

John sighed. For Randy... He thought and willed himself to start eating, no matter how much it made him want to retch. John stopped after a few bites, his hands shaking. He sighed, running a hand through his hair. This made him wanna run to the bathroom for puke. But he couldn't. He forced the food down his throat, on the verge of tears.

Randys heart broke as he watched John eat. He hated that John had to go through this. He placed a hand on his back, rubbing gently.

John was halfway through his meal, no longer tasting it. His only focus was getting it down his throat and into his stomach, and keeping it there. The table looked at him in sympathy, feeling sympathetic towards their friend. John gagged a little every now and again, but kept it down. "Okay, I can't do this." He said, putting his hand over his mouth and rushing into the bathroom, his goal to let go and throw up. He didn't think he could hold it down anymore.

Randy sighed. He pushed his own meal away, which he had barely toouch and buried and face in his hands. He seriously didnt know if he could keep doing this.

John stared at the toilet, wanting to throw up... but he didn't. He kept thinking if Randy, and how disappointed he would be. He took deep breaths, in through his nose, out through his mouth. When he felt okay, he walked out of the bathroom and back tot he table, sitting down, thankful he didn't throw up.

One of the reasons Randy was so mellow now was because he had started smoking again. Not a lot, just enough to down grade the stress. "Excuse me," he said, hoping John didnt follow him outside. He didnt want John to know. Right when he got outside, he pulled a cigarette and lit it up, inhaling deeply. "Ahhh..." he exhaled, closing his eyes.

John, of course, followed Randy outside and saw him smoking. He shook his head. "I thought you quit that shit." He sighed. "You can kill yourself with cancer in a stick, yet you yell at me because I can't finish a meal." He scoffed. "I didn't throw up, by the way." He said, taking the cigarette and taking a drag of it. He didn't smoke, but if it calmed the stress, then fine. If Randy could do it, so could he.

Randy snatched the cigarette from him. "I know, Jonathan. But its not like Im smoking a pack a day. And Im already dying and you only live once. So sue me if I have a cigarette now and again to calm my nerves," he snapped, taking another drag.

John growled. "Well, I'm sorry I stress you out. You don't have to worry about me anymore. I'm tired, and I'm done." He snapped and went inside, grabbing his coat before returning back outside, trying to hail a cab. He didn't expect Randy to try and stop him. He never stopped John before. Apparently, all John did was stress Randy out. Well maybe this was the solution.

"You're leaving me? Well, this is a change of events. I guess you actually would leave me," Randy said, chuckling darkly.

John shook his head at Randy. "Like you would care if I left. You'd probably go back to Cena or someone else. You think I actually want to leave you? I don't. But... I'm tired Randy! The temper tantrums, the threats and everything else. Randy, you threatened to hurt me because I said something vain! How the hell do you think that makes me feel?"

"Its who I am, John! You think Im not tired? Im fucking exhausted. But at the end of the day, I know what we have is real. When I walk away, Im not leaving you, Im going to cool down. I never threatened to hurt you. I said that a punt to the head is not the worst I can do. I never said that hurting you is what I meant, you took it that way. I understand Im high matniance. I know Im a lot to handle. But you are, too. You seem to forget that anger therapy is the only way I can control it. Im on so many meds Im a fucking pharmacy, John. But I know that through the rain is sunshine and that the sunshine is worth. At least, it is to me. Right now, Im not so sure about you," Randy said before throwing the cig on the ground and stomping it out, turning around and walking away as tears pricked his eyes and his chest ached.

John wiped his eyes. "Randy, wait!" He called, rushing over to him and turning him around. "Look, I don't mean what I said... I never do. I couldn't actually leave you... I wouldn't make it without you. And I know I'm being selfish when I say shit like that because I know what your going through right now, even if I don't know what its like. And... the sunshine is worth it. I just... hate the rain. You know that. I love you... Hell, the words 'I love you' don't explain how I feel about you. And all this... shit, that we're going through.... Its worth it because at the end of the day, I got you holding me at night. Even if I don't show it. If don't have you... I have nothing. I mean... if I don't make it with you, I can't make it with anyone. I'm sorry about what I said. I was just... angry and pissed. And I do and say dumb things when I'm angry and pissed. Will you still marry me?" He finished.

Randy took a deep, shuddering breath and wiped his tears. It took a lot to make him cry, so the fact that he was showed how much John meant to him. "O- o- o-" he started. He stopped and took another breath. "Of course," he finally got out.

John wrapped his arms around Randy, reaching up on his toes and pressing his lips to Randy's. "I love you so much." He whispered. "Let's go back to the restaurant, yeah? Finish eating then go back to the hotel and relax." He said gently tugging back into the restaurant and back to the table.
