Life As We All Knew It

John growled as he stared at the grey hairs coming in as he looked at himself in the mirror. John was still sexy as ever... but those grey hairs were getting on his nerved. He sighed when his cell rang. He answered it.
"Hello?"
"M-Mommy? Can you come get me from school?" Gianna sniffled on the other end. John frowned.
"Baby, what's wrong?" He asked worriedly.
"M-My boyfriend dumped me, and I don't wanna be h-here... please come get me?" He pleaded. Gianna was a gorgeous young girl at 16 years old. Tan skin like here father's. Deep green eyes like her mother's. Pouty lips that were all John's, just like the long hair, but everything else was Randy.
"Alright sweetie, I'm coming to get you." He said, hanging up and going to grab his coat. "Randy, Gianna called me from school. I gotta pick her up." He said. He and Gianna had a close relationship, especially when she had boy troubles.

"Why? The school day is only half over," Randy replied and looked at John. He loved his princess and that's why he acted this way. He wanted her to get a good education and stop worrying about boys.

Randy, too, looked the same. Most days, his disease got to him but he still exercised. He had gotten a few mire tattoos, most about Gianna and John, but he was done with that now.

"Her boyfriend broke up with her, and she's crying in the bathroom or something." John sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Randy, she's a straight A student. It won't hurt if she misses the rest of the day."
John sighed. "I'll be back, okay baby?" He said, kissing Randy before grabbing his car keys.

"Whatever, John," Randy said and went upstairs, changing into gym shorts and sneakers and heading toward the gym in the basement. He felt good right now, so he needed to get in some gym time while he could.

John rolled his eyes and went to the car. He arrived at the school and picked Gianna up. He wrapped an arm around as they walked to the car. "What happened, sweetie?" He asked softly.
"Ryan said we should see other people. He said I was a spoiled brat..." She said, sniffling as she sank down in the passenger seat.
"Baby, forget him. You shouldn't even be focusing on boys anyway. Guys aren't gonna get you into college. Now I know what it's like to really like a by and wanna spend all your time with him... but understand that right now, that's not what's important." He said as he drove them home.

About 10 minutes onto his workout, Randy got tired and felt weak. He sughed and left the gym, heading up to their room, taking off his sneakers and laying down.

John sighed, holding Gianna in her room as she cried and seethed. "Gianna, forget about him. You know your father's not happy that you missed school. That boy isn't worth it." He sighed.
Gianna sighed and nodded. "I know... But I really liked him. And he said the only way he'd stay with me is if I had sex with him... but I wouldn't do that. I wouldn't disappoint you guys." He said quietly.
John smiled softly. "I'm proud of you..."

Randy coughed, wincing from the intensity. His eyes watered and he curled into a ball. He hated these times. It made him feel weak and helpless. He hated that feeling. It drove him insane. He wished John was up here, making him feel better like he usually did. But their daughter was going through something, and he was taking care of her.

John sighed. "Are you gonna be okay? I should go check on your father." He said.
Gianna nodded. "Yeah, I'm just gonna take a nap." She said. John nodded and went up stairs to his and Randy's bedroom. He frowned, seeing Randy curled up, looking like hell. He sighed and laid next him, pulling him to his chest and rubbing his back. "I'm right here, baby..." He whispered, kissing his temple.

Randy relaxed slightly at Johns touch, but he still hurt. He closed his eyes and tried to fall asleep, but he just couldn't. He had pills to help him sleep and dull the pain but he didn't like taking them. His immune system was already weak enough.

John sighed, feeling bad that Randy had to go through this. He himself had been feeling a little sick lately but he pushed it aside, taking care of Randy and Gianna. He kissed Randy's forehead, trying to lull him to sleep.

Randy sighed. "Can you get my sleeping aides?" he asked quietly. He knew he wasn't falling asleep without them right now. The pain was too overwhelming to sleep, but not overwhelming enough to knock him out.

"Okay baby." John said softly. He fetched Randy the sleeping pills and a glass of water. "Here you go." He said, handing Randy the pills.

"Thank you," Randy said with a soft smile before taking the pills and downing the water. He took a deep breath and laid back down.

John leaned down, kissing Randy. "Now sleep." He whispered, stroking his jaw.

Randy sighed and slowly drifted to sleep, his body relaxing completely.

John smiled softly, relived that everybody in the house was asleep. He got up, going to feed Felix and Dalton... Carlisle had passed away a couple years ago. John was still down about that, and so seemed Dalton. he sighed, feeding the dogs and cleaning the house to keep himself busy.

Randy woke a few hours later feeling better. He still felt a bit sore and weak, but not as much. He sat up and stretched, looking around. He rubbed the sleep from his eyes and got up, heading downstairs and looking for John.

John was cleaning the island when he saw Randy walk in. "Hey baby, you feeling better?" He asked, going over and kissing his cheek.

"Yeah," Randy smiled. "How's Gianna?" he asked, yawning and walking over to the fridge, pulling out his orange juice and taking a long chug from it.

John shrugged. "She's asleep right now. She cried out all her teenage angst for a good half hour, but I'm sure she'll get over it and be on to the next guy." He chuckled. "She's way too much like me at her age when it came to guys."

"I was into girls in high school," Randy replied after he had finished his orange juice. "Had plenty of 'em," he shuddered.

John chuckled. "I dated a lot and fooled around. But I was careful. That guy Gianna was dating said that he wouldn't be with her unless she had sex with him." He scoffed.

Randy got a guilty look at that. He did that in high school. If they were together for two weeks and hadn't had sex, he left them.

John raised a brow. "It's alright, Randy. I know you were a... player." He said, using the polite term. "I told her the jackass wasn't worth it. I guarantee she'll have some knew infatuation next weekend."
