Life As He Knew It (Open)

When the Doctor finished with John, he went to speak with Randy. "Well, Mr. Orton. He seems to be fine, but the major thing that I'm worried about is his eating habits... or lack of one. I looked through his records, and he does have a history of anorexia. Mr. Orton... John needs to be eating. And the tests I just took prove tat he's not eating everyday. Whether you or anybody else noticed it or not, I'm not sure. John is almsot 20 pounds underweight. If he doesn't start eating, at the very least, two meals a day everyday, then I may have to put him on medication. And I don't want to have to do that. Someone has to make sure he's eating on a daily basis. Even if its something small, he has to be eating everyday before he gets too underweight. The situation isn't too serious yet, so long as he's eating everyday, he will be fine. I explained this to John. Yuo may see him now." The Doctor finished.

Randy slapped himself mentally on the walk to Johns room. He told John he was going to be eating 3 meals a day but he's been stressed and crazy lately so he hasnt been able to. When he walked into Johns room, his first words to John were, "You know, I could kill you for being such an idiot."

John jumped a little. "O-Oh... so I take it the Doctor told you. I'm not an idiot... I think..." He said, pouting a little. He knew he should have been eating 3 times a day, just like Randy said. But he just been to stressed and busy that he just hasn't been hungry, or hasn't had the time.

"You most definatly are an idiot. 20 pounds underweight, Jonathan? Now I really gotta fatten you up. Lots of sugar and carbs from now on until you're the weight you should be. And then you're going to be eatihhng 3 balanced meals a day," Randy said sternly.

John glowered. "I am not underweight! I weigh 220 pounds!" Or, he was supposed to weigh 220 pounds. The Doctor has said he was almost 200 pounds. But he wouldn't tell Randy that, though the math was pretty damn basic. "Look, if I don't eat, what are you gonna do? Are you gonna shove it down my throat?" He scoffed.

"Im not talking to you like this. When you're done being an immature 5-year-old, you can speak to me," Randy said.

John glared. He closed his eyes, and took a few deep breaths. "I'm not fighting with you. Look, I just... I don't wanna eat. I don't know what you want me to do. I don't even like sugar." He pouted. Well, he's never really had sugar. Maybe a few times in his entire life.

"I honestly dont give a fuck. You're going to eat and you're going to fucking deal with it. Im not letting my fiance slowly starve to death, so dont argue with me," Randy said coolly and calmly.

John sighed, but gave in. "Okay. By the way, after Extreme Rules, we get some time off. So maybe we could go to Greece, and start planning. Well, I'll be planning." He said.

"Okay," Randy said. Its not that he didnt want to help plan. He just wants this to be the wedding of Johns dreams. Hes only going to have one.

John sighed, glancing at the time. "When can I leave? Tomorrow I have a Championship match and the last thing I need is to fall asleep in the middle of it and break something." He said.

"Whenever you want, Im guessing. They'd tell you of they wanted you to stay," Randy replied.

"Okay, then I wanna leave now." John said, and carefully getting off the bed, stretching. He grabbed Randy's hand and pulled him out of the hospital and to the car. He got in the passenger seat, sinking down and pulling his knees to his chest.

Randy got in the drivers seat, driving to the hotel. He sighed as he got out, waiting for John.

John walked to Randy, intertwining his hand with his as they walked. When they got back to the room, John immediately went to the bed, curling up into a tight ball.

Randy sighed and laid on the bed as well, facing away from John and closing his eyes as the memory of his nightmare ran through his head.

John frowned a little when Randy didn't lay behind him and spoon him like he always did. It hurt a little, but he just pushed it aside, and tried to fall asleep.

Randy didnt want to fall asleep. He knew he would be plagued by nightmares and he didnt want that. But the more he lay there and relax, the more he was pulled into sleep until finally, he was. His breathing even, his heartbeat steady. That was, until the nightmare.

John eventually couldn't handle the space between them, and curled up behind Randy, spooning him and wrapping his arms around him. He felt Randy get tense, and knew he was having a nightmare. "Its okay... I'm right here..." He whispered tiredly, gently kissing Randy's neck.

Randy felt John, but barely. Again, the nightmare was vivid. But it wasnt about someone else hurting John, or John never coming back. It was about him hurting John and feeling no remorse what-so-ever.

John sighed in his sleep and just held Randy, wanting to remind him John was here, and he was safe and unharmed. The next morning, he awoke. He looked down at Randy. "You asleep, baby?" He whispered, still half asleep as he rubbed Randy's back.

"Hum-a bum-a," Randy muttered tiredly. He was awake, but his brain was too muddled from lack of sleep.

John chuckled. "You remember I have Extreme Rules and all that?" he chuckled, bending down and kissing Randy on the cheek.

"Humby boo," Randy said, thinking he was actually speaking English and not gibberish.

John chuckled. "English, babe. I don't know what you're saying." He said, trying to wake Randy fully as he got up and started to get ready.
