Life As He Knew It (Open)

Randy waited for his music to play, putting on his signature smirk and walking slowly to the ring, climbing the steps and entering via second rope. He went to the turnbuckles, getting on the second and doing his pose before climbing down and turning to face John.

John rolled his eyes and waited for the bell to ring. When it did, he and Randy locked up, starting the match. If Randy won, then he would be the no. 1 contender. But John fought hard. The match lasted a while, and John's was getting worn, but he kicked out out of everything Randy dished at him. The match got even more intense when John kicked out of an RKO, shocking everybody.

Randy growled. He was 100% focused. He stood up, starting to get tired but the adrenaliine and frustration running through his body kept him energized. He didnt know what to do. Until... A punt. That would work. He backed up into the corner, waiting for John to get on his hands and knees, his mind focused souly on getting that title. If he won this, he would be number 1 contender. And then he would fight John for the championship. He needed this.

John groaned, slugglishly standing on his hands and knees. He was so dazed, he didn't even see Randy in position for the punt. He had no clue what was coming.

Randy growled, chanrging forward and punting John in the head. He knew that it was a knockout kick. He pulled John to the center of the ring, getting the win. He smirked, getting on the second turnbuckle and doing his victory pose before leaving the ring, his brain not registering what he had just done.

John was out, but he could feel the horrible pain in his neck, which made him awake. The arena started to go deathly silent when they saw John wasn't getting up. The referee signaled for EMT to get out here immediatly. They realized John's neck was injured, and called an ambulance. John just realized... Randy punted him. He really punted him. The emotional pain was too much, mixed with all the other stress he'd endured. John'd eyes rolled in the back of his head, his body beginning to thrash wildy as he went into a seizure. The medics couldn't move John because of it, and started to hook up IV bags to John full of stuff to stop the sizure, that way he wouldn't injure hos neck any further, treating John right there in the ring. There wasn't a sound in the arena except for John's gasps for air mixed with his cries.

When Randy got to the top of the ramp, it was deathly quiet. He slowly turned around, seeing the paramedics and John. And he snapped back to reality. "John..." he breathed, his eyes wide. He punted John. He punted his fiance. He punted his lover, the love of his life. His world. His life. His everything. He stood there, at the top of the ramp, shocked. What did I just do?

John whimpered, unable to move. The medics carefully lifted him on a stretcher, pumping morphine into system at the same time. "Randy..." He cried. He didn't care if Randy was the reason he was in pain. He hurt, and he wanted his lover. "Randy..." He whimpered quietly again. The medics rolled John up the ramp, rushing him to the ambulance.

Randy couldnt move. It was like he was frozen. He felt everyone's eyes on him, but he didnt care. He stared at the ring. The place where he hurt the love of his life. Thats when he snapped out of it, running after John and the paramedics. He was still in his ring gear but he didnt give a shit. The abulence was gone so he got into his car and sped to the hospital. He ran inside, ordering people to bring him to John. People looked at him, seeing as he was practically naked and acting like a crazed man. It got to the point where he was throwing things and he had to be sedated. "John..." he whispered before the drugs took him over, bringing darkness and sleep that he needed oh-so-badly.

The doctors treated John immediatly. When they finished, they secured a foam neck brace on John that he'd have to wear. When John awoke, the doctor told him he had a third-degree neck sprain, whch meant he tore a couple of tendons in his neck. Considering its a torn tendon, and not a fraxture thankfully, it would tak 2-3 weeks to heal and wear the neck brace. He also said the seizure was caused by emotional distress, and to try and avoid stress during his recovery. John agreed and asked for Randy. The doctor nodded and went to go get John's fiance.

Randy was loopy. The drugs they had given him hadnt kept him asleep so they were messing with his brain. When the doctor told Randy that John wanted to see him, he giggled - yes, giggled - and called him a cutie pie before walking to Johns room. He walked in and smiled widely. "Johnnysnugglebear!" he giggled, sitting next to John.

John blinked, wondering what the hell was wrong with his fiance. He looked at him, or tried to considering he couldn't turn his head. "Randy, are you okay?" He asked, wondering if his lover was high or something.

Randy giggle again. "Of course, silly goose. Im fantabulous!" he said, clapping his hands together. And he was. For now. When the drugs wore off in an hour or two, he was going to wish he were dead.

John frowned. "Okay then... Well, um, I'm gonma yry amd.get some sleep if you don't mind." He said and closed his eyes, wondering when Randy would come back to the real world.

"Okie dokie, artichokie!" Randy said and leaned back, sighing as his body relaxed and his mind started to clear.

John sighed, drifting off to sleep. He didn't know what Randy's reaction would be when the drugs wore off. He didn't know if he wanted to know...

Randy woke up when the drugs faded. He had an incrdible headache, he felt dead and he was sore. He looked around, finding himself in a hospital room. His eyes landed on John and they went wide. "Oh, God, Johnny, Im so sorry. I didnt... I shouldnt have... Fuck!" he groaned. He felt so bad.

John awoke when heard Randy. He looked up at his fiance. "Baby, its okay. I'll be okay..." He whispered. "I'll heal. I'm not mad." He said, taking a few breaths from the oxygen tubes in his nose. He just wanted to get put of here, but he knew he couldn't. He didn't bame Randy, though he didn't think he would actually hurt him like this.

"But- But I hurt you! You're in the hospital. I fucked up your neck! How long are you out? Shit, shit, shit. I shoulda just let you win. I mean, I love the title but I love you more and..." Randy started ranting. He had hurt John.

"Baby! Calm down, okay? I love you, and we'll get over this. I'll only be out for a few weeks. It's a 3rd degree neck sprain, I tore a few tendons. It hurts, but I'll be fine. At least its not broken. If it was, I'd be out for months. And the seizure wasn'y really caused by the injury, as it was caused but stress but whatever..." John sighed.

Randy bit his lip. "And you cant take time off like we were supposed to because you're champion. Am... Am I a reason you're stressed?" he asked quietly. He knew he was. He just need confirmation.

John sighed. "You're part of it. The other part is... My job. And just... trying to deal with everything, and putting on a happy gace while doing it. Anc I don't wanna breakdown because... that stresses you out, especially since you haven't been sleeping. So I guess all that sorta... Exploded into a seizure or something." He said.

"John, you can break down sometimes. Id rather deal with a little stress than losing you. I think you should talk to Vince about taking some time off, too," Randy said. John needed to relax for a week or two.

John hummed in agreement. "Yeah, I guess I do. Alex said I should go home for a while, with or without you. But I think a couple weeks apart would do us good. We're always glued at the hip, you need a break from me." He chuckled.

Randy cracked a smile at that. "I should stay anyway. Im more than okay enough to stay here. But John, you gotta promise me you're gonna eat at least twice a day. And not that salad shit, actual meals. The last thing you need is to add something else to your list of problems. And if you wont do it for yourself, do it for me."
