Hearing Rumours (For Nolee)

Brian was too busy staring up at the much taller man in fear, expecting him to attack at any second.
He hadn't even seen Nolee come up to them, or heard her speak until she dragged him away, Abyss growling as he watched.

"Huh...?" Brian said, confused. "Why am I...being...locked..in?" He asked slowly, still terrified.

Nolee rolled her eyes, "These baffoons are just the kind who will attack you when you least expect it and probably when it's least legal. Jerry use to tell me all the time about the guys whose feuds carried on into real life beating the snot out of each other at the hotel."

"Oh...right." Brian said slowly. "Yeah some of them try to do that..." He still wasn't thinking clearly, still very obviously terrified.
He barely noticed when they'd gotten back to his room, he was holding his room key in his hand, but just stood there, staring at nothing.

"Brian..." Nolee sighed, escorting him back into the hotel room. "I don't think you're being fully honest about why you hate Abyss so much and why you're so scared of him..."

"What makes you think that...?" Brian said quietly as he sat on the couch, hugging his knees to his chest. Now that he was sitting, he realised he was shaking slightly.

"Your shaking Brian. That right there constitutes that he's done something to you that you're not telling me about..."

Brian whimpered like a scared child would when a parent yells at them. "Fine...there is a reason..." He almost whispered, staring down at the floor.

Nolee frowned, kneeling and putting her hands on Brian's knee's. "You can tell me Brian. I promise, I won't judge you."

"Feel free to judge him..." Brian mumbled sourly. He stayed silent for a while before saying anything else.
"People used to think we were together...w-which we weren't..eww..." Brian slowly started explaining, pulling a face as he did so.

"So because people thought you two were dating you hate him?" Nolee said, utterly confused.

Brian shook his head "No...I hate him for what he did after I told him I didn't want to be with him..." He mumbled.

Nolee frowned, "Brian...did...did he make you do things or soemthing?"

Brian whimpered again and put his head in his hands. "Not...not exactly..."

"Brian...tell me..." Nolee pleaded, "I can't help you if you don't tell me..."

"He...didn't make me do things..." Brian said, still speaking quietly, his head still in his hands. "He-he tried t-to..." He said before going silent, shaking again.

"He tried to rape you didn't he?" Nolee frowned, "Someone saved you?"

Brian nodded, not looking at her.
He'd never told anyone and even though Abyss never actually managed to do anything besides hurt him, Brian still felt ashamed that he hadn't been able to stop the man himself.

Nolee held him close, "W...who saved you?;

Brian curled up against her. "A-Anderson..." He sobbed. "Not because he wanted to though...he-he was just looking for Abyss at the time..."

"Oh Brian," she said softly, holding him. She refused to let go, feeling like a momma bear needing to comfort it's cub. "Shh...it'll be okay...'

Brian continued sobbing, shaking as he mentally relived the moment. "It-it's probably why...Anderson left us alone...in the ring..."

Nolee nodded, still holding him close. "He will never, ever touch you ever again."

Brian nodded slowly, but didn't say anything. He was still sobbing, trying to clam down. He curled up against Nolee more, reaching out for one of her hands.

Nolee took his hand in hers, smiling, "You'll be fine love..."

"I...know," Brian said, slowly calming down. "It just...it's not really something I ever want him to be able to try again..." He mumbled.
