Heroes And Protecters (for Nolee)

"She's in the labs isn't she?" Jay asked sadly. "They lied, these powers are ours and they hate us because of them." Brett said.

Carter nodded, whiping at his tears. Nolee frowned, "Why...why would they hate us?"

Jay hugged Carter, "They took my best friend to the labs too." "Because on how special our gifts are, i mean my best friend you should see the things he can do with plants."

Carter hugged him tightly. "My brother can talk to animals. He use to take me to the zoo when we were younger and get the animals to come right up to where we were standing. People thought he was crazy..." Nolee smiled softly. "He...he was a good man..."

"We need to find a way to get them out." Jay murmered softly. Brett smiled softly, "My friend used to when i was sick, he bring the most beautiful and rare plants."

"Yeah, I've been working on that for years. No one can find the labs!" Carter sighed. Nolee smiled, "That sounds wonderful..."

Jay sighed before saying softly. "How you ever noticed the monsters always come from the same area?" Brett smiled. "I miss those days."

"Not always." Carter said. "This one was different." Nolee frowned, "What do they do when they come visit you?"

Jay nodded slowly. "Take blood." Brett answered.

"This one...it was smarter..." Nolee frowned and whimpered, "I don't like the men who take blood...they hurt me..."

"It was almost human." Jay said softly. "They say they looking for a cure but their lying, i saw on their file's." Brett said.

"It was at least humanoid." Carter nodded. Nolee frowned, "How did you get their files?"

Jay frowned softly. "I hacked." Brett answered.

"What?" Nolee frowned, "They let you have a computer? They won't let me have my books."

"I have a friend here who snuck it in and helps keep it secret." Brett said. "I don't think it was natral." Jay replied.

Nolee frowned, "Who?" Carter nodded, "How do you think it got that way?"

"Justin that lab tect that in charge of me." Brett said. "Something from a lab or something." Jay said.

"His boss must be Wade...." Nolee whimpered, crossing her arms and looking away. Carter nodded, "Yeah."

"Is something wrong?" Brett asked. Jay sighed. "What if their trying to replcete powers?"

Nolee shook her head, "I...I don't wanna talk about it..." Carter nodded, "That sounds correct."

"Ok." Brett said. Jay shook his head "Their useing the people they take to make monsters."

"He makes me do things..." Nolee frowned, speaking softly. "You mean....their taking our friends and families powers?"

"I'm sorry." Brett said softly. "I think so." Replied Jay.

Nolee went to say something but the door of her cell opened and Wade entered, "Mr...Mr Barett..." she frowned. Carter looked as if he would be sick.

Jay bit his lip softly. Brett froze at Nolee's scared tone.
