I Get Carried Away.

John bit his lip. Sure, Mike would be upset with him for a while if he got an abortion behind his back... but what if he resented him forever because he kept it. He looked at the Doctor. "How would an abortion be done a man?" John asked quietly.

Jake had stepped back in and raised a brow.
"John? Why are you athking that?"

John looked down. "Don't worry... I'm just thinking about, I won't do it... yet. I know its gonna kill Mike if I have this baby, but he's never say that to my face... I just he would just flat out tell me he doesn't wanna have this baby, I'd be fine with that. I-I mean, it's n-not like I wanted t-this baby... I-I didn't a-ask to get raped!" John cried, starting to get emotional again. "God, why d-did I have to let that pig r-rape me and ruin e-everything!" John cried into his hands.

Jake still didnt understand. No one had told him John was pregnant or that he was raped. Jake was in the dark.

John looked Jake realizing that he didn't know. And John was so emotional that he spilled... everything to the bigger man. He just... was so stressed and couldn't keep it in, he just spilled everything to Jake Hager.

And Jake listened silently, nodding anf rubbing his back, hugging him, anything to try and make him feel better if that was possible.

John laid against Jake's chest and cried. "W-What do I do? I don't know what to do and I feel like I'm falling apart. But I cant fall apart, because that will just put more stress on Mike and I just... I just want him to be happy." John whimpered.

"Johnny....I dont know....Im not juth thaying thith becauthe I love him....Maybe you two thouldnt be together? He cant do thith and you cant thop..."

John looked down at his ring, slowly slipping it off and looked at it. He sniffed, flipping it around in his hand. The thought of leaving Mike... killed him. And the thought of Mike leaving him alone with a baby... killed him even more. But he'd go through all of that for Mike. "Maybe you're right..." He whispered.

Jake frowned, kissing the top of John's head.
"I can help you with the baby if you want it but he juth....Either way he ith going to hurt....He cant do all of thith with you....He ith....He ith Mike and you will kill his thmile..."

John nodded. "I know... I'd kill for that smile. I... I do wanna keep it. Will you really help me?" John asked, looking up at Jake.

Jake smiled and nodded. "I will....Me or Evan, he is my lover right now....He loves babies..."

"Thank you... I don't deserve help right now but thanks anyway." John whispered laying back down on the bed. "Do you know where Mike went?" He asked, worried about him.

"No...He juth....Left. He didnt thay where he wath going but he hath hith phone if you need him." Jake nodded, also worrying about him.

John nodded. "I'll let him clear his head a little before I call him." He said. He was exhausted, so he rested against Jake's chest, and fell asleep.

Jake sighed, holding John while he waited for Mike to come back...
He never did.

John awoke, and Mike still wasn't back yet. He bolted up, looking worriedly at Jake. "Please go look for him?" John begged, extremely worried for Mike.

Jake sighed but nodded, getting up and grabbing his jacket.
"Wanna come?"

John hesitated, but nodded, getting up putting on his sweatshirt well... it was Mike's. He'd given it to him on their second date... John shook his head of these thoughts and followed Jake out of the hospital.

Jake drove them around, looking for Mike who seemed to just vanish off the face of the Earth.

John's heart started to race, but he remained calm. He closed his eyes and thought back to every conversation he'd had with Mike... trying to remember if he ever mentioned the places he went to be alone. "Rooftop." John said softly. "Go back to the hotel and I'll check on the rooftop."

Jake was confused but he did as he was told, going back to the hotel and parking.

They got back to the hotel, and John swiftly ran up the stairs of the hotel, reaching the ladder that led to the roof. He climbed up, and stood on the rooftop, and sure enough, Mike was sitting, gazing up at the darkening sky. "Mizzy?" He called out softly but loud enough for him to hear.

Mike didn't move, he just sat there. He wanted to be alone, why else would he be up here? Just because he liked them?

He sighed, walking forward. He bent down next to Mike, grabbing his hand and placed the ring in the center of his palm, before turning around and silently leaving. Mike needed time do de-stress his life... hell they both did. And that meant they needed some time apart.
