Somebody Save Me From Myself (Open)

"Me..." John whispered. "I care about you, Ted. And I better not ever hear you talk about yourself like that again, understood?!" John snapped, which something very, very rare.

"I can talk about myself however the fuck I want to! You want to stop me? Go ahead and fucking try," Ted said lowly before getting out of the car and storming away.

John sighed tiredly and sank back in his seat. If Ted thought he could flatter himself and think he was the only one who's been through something traumatic, well then he was mistakenly wrong. But Ted was acting like it, and it stung, a lot.

Ted growled as he punched the wall of the hotel, biting his lip to keep from crying out in pain. He pulled his hand back and cradled it. "Shit..." he muttered, looking at it, knowing he had broken a few knuckles.

John returned tot he hotel, and found Ted cradling his fist. He went over to him. "You okay?" He asked, and as gently as possible, taking Ted's injured hand into his own.

Ted growled slightly. "No. Its fucking broken," he said, regretting punching the hotel wall.

"I'll take you to the hospital." He said softly, ignoring Ted's rude tone and leading him out to the car.

Ted bit his lip so hard, it was bleeding. But he refused to cry, no matter how bad it hurt. He sat in the car, his eyes closed, his head leaning back against the seat.

John glanced at Ted from the corner of his eye. "You can cry, Ted. It releases the emotions. I can guarantee you, I'm a little bitch when it comes to pain. I've literally cried at paper cuts, so its fine with me." He said.

"I dont cry," he said. Well, that wasnt entirely true. He didnt cry when he could help it. Sometimes he just couldnt hold back the tears. But right now, he could. So he would.

John shrugged. "Okay." he said. They arrived at the hospital. They said Ted would need a cast, and John stayed with him as they pinched and touched the other man's hand.

Ted was ready to beat the shit out of the doctors and nurses who kept fucking with his hand. "Take a fucking x-ray and fix it. Dont fucking pinch it. That shit hurts," he said, along with a string of curses when the doctor squeezed a particular spot.

John looked down as the Doctor's started to get pissed. He sighed, taking the Doctor aside, charming her and talked to her nicely. And within seconds, the Doctor was as nice as can be and never pinched Ted's hand again.

Ted rolled his eyes. He couldnt care less who he pissed off. But he was willing to break someones face it they messed with him, no matter the gender.

John rolled his eyes at Ted's anger. He should really try being nice, this whole 'asshole' act was very tiring. John sat in a chair when they took Ted to get an X-ray.

Ted sat there as he got x-rayed, ranting to himself in his mind.
Stupid fuckers... Pinching my obviously broken hand... Fucking dumbasses. His thoughts were interrupted by the doctor, telling him he was done being x-rayed. He got up and walked out, walking back to his room.

John looked on as the Doctors wrapped Ted's hand in a cast. He wanted to tell ted to stop being such a fucking asshole, but that would just make him snap at him and John had no patience for that after the way he's been acting. But he wasn't going to give on him, that's for sure.

Ted looked at the doctor. "Do I get pain killers for this? I better get fucking pain killers..." he said.

The Doc rolled her eyes. "Yes, sir. You will." She muttered. John sighed, rubbing his temples as he developed a headache. Why the fuck was Ted such a jackass towards people?

Ted nodded. "Thats good..." he trailed off. He knew he was being a jackass. But its who he was. He grew up learning to not care if he pissed someone off.

John sighed when the Doctor finally finished, getting up and walking back to the car after picking up Ted's pain killers.

Ted sat in the passenger seat, looking out the window, his hand in his lap. He sighed slightly, glad to be going to the hotel. He just wanted some sleep.

They arrived back to their hotel room, John watched as Ted went to his bed. He sighed, climbing into his own bed, trying to sleep away the his headache.

No matter how bad Ted wanted and needed it, he couldnt sleep. His hand was killing him and he was far too tense. He groaned loudly, wanting to punch something.

John awoke. "You alright?" He asked, slowly sitting up.
