Life As He Knew It (Open)

John was curled up on the couch in their dressing room, a waste basket in between his legs as he retched. He groaned. He was happy for Randy, he truly was. Randy might not hold the title again. John would, it was a given. So he wasn't at all mad. Sure, he didn't wanna have to loose like this, but sometimes the title wasn't worth it. He thought of this as he puked into the waste basket.

Randy walked in, dropping the title and sitting next to John, holding his hair back. "Sorry, baby," he said quietly, rubbing Johns back.

John sniffled, wiping his mouth with a tissue. "It's okay, baby. I'm happy for you, I really am." He said, his voice cracking a bit. "You saved me the embarrassment of puking in front of millions of people worldwide." He said, smiling slightly before puking again.

"John, you need to get checked out. You've been puking a lot lately," Randy said. He hated seeing John go through this.

John sighed and nodded. "F-Fine." He said. He didn't want to be sick. He wanted to be healthy, for Randy. He sluggishly changed out of his ring gear and into his cloths before leaning on Randy as they went to the car. He hoped nothing was seriously wrong.

Randy set John in the passenger seat, quickly getting in the drivers seat and speeding to the hospital. He helped John in, asking for help. They tried to take Randy away, but Randy was having none of that. They allowed him to stay and Randy kept Johns hand firmly in his.

The Doctor took a few tests, John squeezing Randy's the whole time. When the test results came back, John sat up, leaning his head against Randy's shoulder. "Well... I'm not sure how to tell you this, so I'll just come out with it.... Mr. Hennigan, Congratulations... You're pregnant."

Randys eyes went wide. "He's what?" he exclaimed. John couldnt be. Randy had HIV. He didnt want a kid to deal with that.

John felt his jaw drop, he was in shock. The doctor nodded. "Yes, he is pregnant. And I understand that you, Mr. Orton, are HIV positive. Well I tested John's blood, and he's negative. And if he's negative, then so is the baby. You can't have one without the other. Mr. Hennigan and the baby are both HIV negative. So you don't have to worry." He explained. John nodded. That was a load off, but still... would he be a good parent? He partied... he drank, he was still wild. Could he give that up cold turkey? He had to... John was determined.

"Oh, thank God," Randy said and then a smile spread on his face. "This is great!" Randy was happy. Very, very happy. He's always wanted his own child. He turned to John, taking his face into his hands and kissing him passionately.

John smiled into the kiss. Though he was scared beyond shitless, he was excited. The though of having his own child made him smile. But he was petrified. It wouldn't be just him and Randy.... there was a baby inside him. And after nine moths... it would be here... in his arms. When they pulled away, he looked down at his stomach. "Oh my gosh, there's a baby in there!" He said, running his hand over the slight bump on his lower abdomen. Everything was going to change.

"Well, duh!" Randy exclained. He was so damn happy. He hoped it was a girl. She would be Daddys little princess. He bit his lip, his smile starting to hurt his face.

John chuckled, Randy's excitement was infectious. And the smile on his lover's face made him forget his fears. Everything would work out. The doctor said he could leave, and John held Randy's hand as they walked to the car. "You want a boy or girl?" He asked as they walked, his hand on his barely noticeable baby bump.

"Definatly a girl," Randy answered, unable to stop smiling. "What do you want?"

John smiled. "A girl. I'd get to take her shopping and everything. And she'll probably have my amazing hair. She'll be gorgeous." He said, chuckling a little. "The only downside to this is I'm gonna get fat and unattractive." He pouted.

"If you keep saying things like that, Im gonna smack you," Randy replied.

John blinked a him. "Yeah, okay. Like you'd really smack your pregnant fiance." He said, getting in the car. He ran a hand through his hair. He was happy... but he was still beyond scared. He didn't know if he was ready for this...

Sure, Randy was scared. But he knew that he was ready for this. He knew that when this kid was born, he was going to be retiring, not John. Randy had his time. One last title reign and he was done. He was ready to be a father, better than what his father was to him. He loved his father but he wished he had been there for him more.

John fell asleep his hand on his tummy. The more he thought about the baby, the more attached he felt. He knew he might not be able to drink and party as much. He'd have to grow up. But he knew that when the baby was born, he'd know what to do. He knew this kid would change him, for the better.

Randy smiled when he looked at John. He was happy this man was having his baby. He loved him more than words could say. He pulled into the hotel parking lot, parking and getting out, pulling John with him and walking him too their room.

John sighed contentedly in his sleep, snuggling into Randy. He dreamt of his and Randy's life together... raising a daughter. Watching her grow, and watching his and Randy's relationship grow as well. He would admit, he had his fears things would change between them... but now he realized that was a silly fear.

Randy smiled and laid John down, stripping him to his boxers, then stripping himself. He climbed into bed and held John close. He knew things would change and it would get more difficult but he knew that his daughter and John were worth it.

John awoke at 5 am, ready to vomit. He groaned, scrambling for a waste basket. He grabbed it, put in between his legs and puked up everything in his stomach. "Damn m-moning sickness..." He groaned before retching again.

Randy woke when John moved. He held his hair back and rubbed his back.

John coughed a little when he finished, wiping his mouth. "S... Sorry for w-waking you." He sniffled, running a hand through his sweat laced hair. He cleared his throat, and rubbed his stomach.
