I Get Carried Away.

Mike knew his lover. he waited a moment before stating.
"You drink any alcohol and you wont EVER be John Mizanin you hear me?"
It was for John's own good.

"Why shouldn't I? You don't need me... you said so yourself..." John whispered, tears in his eyes as he held and unopened bottle of Tequila, wondering what he should do.

"John you heard me. Do it and one of us is leaving this room and not coming back. I wont have it." Mike was hurting, he didn't know what to do.

John just cried, sliding down a wall, the bottle of Tequila still loosely in his grasp. "Why should you care if I left?!" He screamed. "I'm weak and I'm useless..." He sobbed, his hand lingering over the cap of the bottle of alcohol.

"John damnit! I can't do this right now! I can't! I just watched you blame me for you getting raped! As if I didnt feel bad enough as it is!! Dont start this shit!"

"I don't fucking blame you Mike! I never did! I may bitch about it, but I always bitch! You blame yourself Mike. I never asked you to shoulder all my problems. I never asked you to take the blame. I never asked you take care of me! You chose to do it all, Mike. You!"

Mike stood, stepping out of the room and packing his bags. "You make it sound so bad. Dont worry, Im gone."

John frowned. "Mike... baby please... Don't leave me, please!" He begged. He couldn't make it without Mike... he would die.

Mike stopped, sighing softly and dropping his things. He was naive at times but he knew he wouldnt make it without John...

John sniffed. "Please don't leave me. I'm sorry... I'm sorry I take you for granted. I'm sorry I bitch too much. I'm sorry I stress you out. I'm sorry I almost had a drink. And I'm sorry I'm not strong and can't take care of you. Just please... don't leave..." He whispered.

Mike turned and wrapped his arms around John, picking him up and laying him on the bed. "Hush baby, its fine." It had to be, Mike had to make it that way...
He spooned his lover from behind.

John sniffed. "I don't blame you, baby... never did." He whispered, on the verge of sleep as he pressed closer to his lover.

Mike nodded, saying nothing. He had nothing to say anymore about this. He just wanted it all to go away.

John sighed, drifting asleep in Mike's arms... right where he should be.

The next morning Mike got up, and acted as if the other day never happened. He simply shut it down. He packed everything up, his and Johnny's things. He got them in the truck then carried his sleeping lover out, drove to the airport and by nine in the morning he and John were on a plane.

John sighed, leaning against Mike's shoulder as the plane ascended in the air. He too wanted to forget last night happened, and just move on, focus on he and Mike. "You sure you can deal with unleashing your soon to be husband in Las Vegas to plan the wedding of the century?" He asked, kissing Mike's shoulder.

"Sure." It was another short answer, Mike had been big on those today. He was ill and upset but he was just pushing it aside and pretending he was fine. You see, one thing about Mike is that he was the king of pretend. When things went wrong he could act like it was all fine but when he did he was so distant...

John sighed. "Mike... you can pretend all you want, and tell me your okay, but I know your not. I know your still hurt. Maybe we should wait to get married... wait till we're both ready and not fighting all the time..." He trailed off.

"If you dont wanna marry me just say it John." Mike sighed and turned his head, he couldnt do this right now, he just....
He couldnt.

John sighed and sunk back in his seat. "I do want to... I want it. I wanna be your husband and have your kids... but not if your not ready for it." He said, staring down at his lap. He didn't wanna do this either, but if Mike was gonna marry him... he wanted him to be happy when he did it.

"John baby, now is really not the time for this okay? When we get back to the hotel and settled in then we can talk but right now Im not, I WONT do it here." He simply refused too.

"Alright, calm down baby. Sorry..." John sighed, resting his head against the window of the plane, closing his eyes behind his sunglasses. He thought about all the good times he had with Mike. He wished they could back to those times. He fell asleep, staying unconscious even as the plane landed.

Mike said nothing, picking his lover up and getting him in a taxi before getting their things and telling the driver where to go.

John awoke as they drove down the Vegas strip. They arrived at the Venetian, bell hops taking all their luggage as John laced his fingers with Mike's, pulling him into the extravagant hotel and going to fron desk.
"Sig. Sheldon ha riservato un attico per noi, e noi abbiamo un incontro con lui domani." John spoke to the woman.
"Ah sì. Attico suite top. Avere un signore meraviglioso soggiorno." She spoke, smiling as he handed him a key card.

Mike just blinked at them.
"I hate when you do that, its sexy but I have no idea what your saying." He whined halfheartedly.
