I Get Carried Away.

"It's alright, mon chéri, Johnny's got you... I got you."
He whispered, pressing his lips to the back of Mike's neck, holding him tight to his chest. "I won'r let you go." He said softly.

Mike gave a shaky nod, he believed John would take care of him but in his dreams....
Nothing could save him.

John's body was immensely exhausted, and eventually, he unwillingly fell asleep, never once letting go of Mike as he slept.

Mike couldnt sleep, his eyes were open, he stared into the darkness of the room with fear lurking in his bright baby blues.

John awoke the next morning, stretching a little before looking down at a very awake Mike. "Baby... you didn't sleep at all, did you?" He stated softly, sitting and fully stretching his lean muscles.

Mike shook his head, his eyes wide open and frantically looking around then room still. "I-I tried but I couldn't."

John sighed and bent down, kissing Mike's forehead. "It's okay baby." He yawned out, standing and stretching his lithe legs. His stomach screamed for food, but the hotel didn't have room service. He turned to Mike. "Baby... I need t go downstairs and grab some food. I'll be back in 5 minutes. Will you be okay... or do you wanna go with me?" He asked softly.

Mike sighed, looking around, trembling.
"I can stay here until you get back...It wont take long im sure." He didn't rightly WANT to be alone but he knew John was hungry and he himself knew that he would be fine alone.

John sighed, but he knew he coudln't go without food. "Five minutes. I promise." He said, kissing Mike on the lips before grabbing his key card and head downstairs. He made his way back when someone pushed him in the wall, his cheek smashing against the it. He looked, and saw Sheamus. "Oh, I am so not in the fucking mood!" He snarled, kicking Sheamus in the groin so hard he was sure there was probably bleeding. He huffed and made his way back into the room, a bruise forming on his cheek.

Mike was gone. He had heard some loud banging and he had disappeared. He could be found hiding under the bed, curled up with wide terrified eyes.

John frowned when he didn't see Mike. He then saw tuffs of hair from beneath the bed. He bent down, and carefully pulled his lover out. "Baby, it's okay. It's me. It'll be alright..." He cooed as he lifted him to the bed.

Mike noticed the bruise as soon as he set his petrified eyes on John.
'What happened?! Baby are you okay?!" He caressed the tan cheek gently. looking it over worriedly.

"It's okay. I ran into... ya know... I thought I killed that fucker. But looks like he wants me now, not you. Baby, relax. A bruise was all he could get before I beat his his ass. See.... I'm not always so weak." John said, smiling gently. He remembered when Mike had told him being strong wasn't in his nature...

And Mike still didnt see him as someone who was strong and dominate in nature. To Mike Johnny was his smaller lover who needed to be watched and taken care of' pampered and what not.

And John did know he was the small lover, the submissive in the relationship. And he was more than okay with that. In fact, he preferred it. He liked being held and taken care of. But when it came to Mike, he would kill someone if he had to. He saved Mike from being raped didn't he? Where was Mike when he himself had been raped?

If Mike had know what he was thinking it would have broken him down. Mike already blamed himself for all of that, he shouldered it all, that and John when he was being a bitchy girl. He took care of everything and that one little thought would have brought him to his knees, make him feel like the most worthless lover in the world. How was he supposed to know when John was locked in an elevator? He wasn't but apparently in his and John's mind's he should have.
All his fault....

Deep down, John knew there was no possible way for Mike to have saved him. He didn't blame Mike, he just wanted something to blame other than himself for being so weak. "You okay baby?" He asked, caressing Mike's cheek.

Mike shook his head, studying John's gaze, his own becoming troubled and hurt with every thought he watched pass through John's head. The eyes really were the mirror to the soul...

John frowned a little, not realizing Mike was almost reading his mind. "What's wrong, amore?" He whispered, before turning away and sneezing, not stopping till his eyes watered.

Mike didn't say anything. He simply pulled away from John and laid back down. He couldn't look anymore...It hurt to fucking bad....
He was a shitty lover...

A ache formed in John's head after he finished sneezing, his voice sounding stuffed. When his was done, he turned to Mike. "Baby, what's wrong? Did I do something?" He asked, wondering what was up with Mike.

"No." Mike's voice was low and quiet, he didn't want to speak to Johnny. He felt worthless....

John shook his head and ran a hand through his hair. Was Mike really gonna do this now? "Mike, please just talk to me. I can't take you hiding what your feeling anymore. I'm not a mind reader. How the hell am I supposed to marry you, when every time we have a problem, you either close up on me, or blame yourself? It's tiring, Mike. And I can' take it." He said grabbing Mike's chin, forcing him to look at him.

Mike shook his head, gently pushing John back.
"Look John, just stop. In a minute imma get up and you wont be taking care of me anymore. I don't need this shit okay? I got enough to worry about without knowing your blaming me for you being raped, or what you can't take be here for me one day without thinking less of me. So no, I don't need you help, I have never needed your help, I would rather Sheamus rape me again before I get your help, I deserve it, Right?" Mike stood up, hissing in pain but made his way to the bathroom, slamming it and locking the door.

John looked at the bathroom door, shocked and a little hurt. He stood, growling and kicking the bed frame. He was frustrated. He didn't know what to say to Mike anymore. He just... he wanted a fucking drink. He glanced at the mini bar across the room. Mike didn't need him.... why should he stay around?
