"Why...why don't we escape?" Nolee asked, "Come with me and leave New York. I'll call Brett, we'll be as good as free."

John shook his head. "I... I can't leave. I couldn't. What would I do? I'd have it worse off than I have it here. Here, at least I have food and a roof over my head. I don't know how to do anything else. Prostitution and stripping and dancing are all I know." He said.

"I've tasted your cooking. Be a chef! I've...I've been saving up the extra money from when a client pays me to much so I can use that to get us an apartment." Nolee smiled, "C'mon, Hunter won't ever find us."

John gave a watery laugh. "I don't know, Nolee. It's dangerous. If Hunter found me... he'd kill me. And I told you, it's dangerous to even walk down the street with this new gang around NYC. I just don't know..." He said nervously.

Nolee nodded and sighed, "Alright, alright." She sat up, though her body still ached. "After that...I'm afraid what Hunter's gonna let guys do to me when it's that time of month..."

John shrugged and sighed. "Look... if... if we left... Were would we go?" He asked quietly.

"We could go to New Hampshire, Maine," Nolee shrugged, listing places that they never had any jobs at.

John shrugged. "Shame. If we could get to Los Angeles, that would be perfect. I grew up there and I know a few people." He sighed.

"How are we supposed to get to L.A?" Nolee asked.

John shrugged. "Plane. A couple of clients, without Hunter knowing, and we'd be set to go."

"Lets do-" Nolee stopped when Hunter's voice came over the intercom, calling her downstairs. "Find the clients and we're good to go."

She walked downstairs, hoping that there wouldn't be a repeat of this afternoon.

Hunter looked up when Nolee came into his office. "Nolee, you have another client. You have a set of twins. One wants the usual sex, the other wants your mouth, at the same time. I'd send you on the streets, but it's too dangerous."

Nolee shook her head, "Why? Why are you giving me all these rough jobs? I won't work til you tell me?" The thought of having two men at the same time scared the shit out of her.

Hunter sighed. "John. I feel bad for him. The only way to make it fair is to give you equally rough jobs. Evens everything out."

"Why don't you just not give either of us rough jobs?" Nolee asked, angrily. "Why not just tell him you love him and let us free?"

Hunter glared at her. "I don't love him." He said quietly, in denial.

"Your lyin to yourself and to him. You know you love him. You've always loved him, you hurt him because you don't want to lose him." Nolee pointed out.

"Well how the hell am I supposed to tell him that?!" Hunter snapped, putting his face in his hands. "After all I've done to him, he would never believe me." He scoffed, shaking his head.

"Take him out for dinner tonight," she said as her mind worked out a plan to be able to see Brett. "Take him out for dinner, do something romantic for him."

Hunter ran a hand through his hair. "He'd just think I'm playing him... he's scared shitless of me. I ruined him..." He said guiltily.

"Let me talk to him," Nolee smiled, "I'll get him to believe you. But you have to do something for me."

Hunter raised a brow. "And what exactly is that?" He asked suspiciously.

"Stop me and Brett from being forbidden," Nolee cockily said.

Hunter glared. "He's a DiBiase. If his father finds out about my little prostitution ring, we all go to prison." He said before sighing. John was worth it. "If Brett's father finds out about this... I'll kill him." He growled.

"You don't have to worry about Brett's father. Brett told me that his mother was...was like me when she met his father." Nolee smiled, "So I can start wearing my locket now?" she wasn't thinking about what Hunter would do if he found out she was running around behind his back.
