Pity The Child

John smiled. "Aw, now I'm just like any other guy. I just happen to have great hair." He joked as he stood up from the piano.

"You just happen to be the definition of freaking perfect," said Amber.

John chuckled. "If that's what you think, then sure." He smiled, twirling his hair in his fingers. "If your mother would allow it, I'd be more than happy to give you ringside tickets to Raw. Even backstage passes if you wanna meet some of the other Superstars." He offered.

Amber smiled widely. "That would be freaking awesome!!!!" she said. "You'd really do that for me?"

"Of course. I mean, I'm in the show so that's bound to have its perks." John chuckled. "You can hang out with me backstage. I have the tickets an passes back at Kristy's place."

Amber smiled even wider, if that were even possible. "John you're amazing, I dunno how I could ever repay you for all of this."

"How can you repay me? No sweetheart, I'm doing this because I want to. And you deserve it. All I want you to do is sing. And when you compete, hold nothing back." John said.

Amber nodded. "I won't John, I'll go up there and give it all I've got, for you."

John smiled. "Good. But you also need to win for yourself, not just for me. But either way... I have a feeling you'll win."

"I'm still in shock I even qualified to be honest with you, let alone winning," said Amber.

"I'm not. You are very talented. And I believe you can win. You'll kick all their asses." John chuckled.

Amber chuckled. "I wouldn't be half this good if it weren't for Kristy, she's the best vocal coach around y'know

John smiled. "Well, she's my sister. Greatness must run in the family." He chuckled, smiling at Kristen. "I don't sing much though." He said,s till not thinking he was a very good singer.

Amber chuckled. "It must, it must," she said.

John smiled. "Yes, I'll to stick to sports and chasing the title." He chuckled.

Amber nodded and yawned softly, all the excitement wearing her out.

"You seem tired, sweetheart. You and me both. Maybe we should get going." John said, looking at Kristen before he sneezed a couple times.

"Bless you," said Amber. Kristen nodded. "We probably should."

"Thanks." John sniffled. "Well, it was a pleasure meeting you, Amber. I hope I see you again." He said as he stood up.

Amber smiled. "Thanks again John, for everything."

"No problem, sweetie." John said. He kissed the young girl's head before he walked over to Kristy.

Kristen smiled. "Next lesson as normal?" she asked. Amber nodded. "Alrighty, see you then." she said, turning to leave.

John followed Kristen out, yawning as he did so. he felt exhausted, he jsut wanted to get back to bed and sleep.

Kristen smiled. "Why don't you nap on the way home Johnny?"

John nodded and smiled. "Yeah... before I pass out on my feet." He chuckled. He slid in the car after they said goodbye to Jackie. John was out like a light the minute he sat in the passenger seat.
