Pity The Child

"Aw, I can't wait! You give me something to look forward to." John smiled. A real, genuine smile for once. "What does she say about me?"

"Even though she can't see right now, she still watches your matches religiously," said Kristen. "She always talks about how great she thinks you are, how you give her a reason not to give up, things like that, you're what keeps her going John," she said. "She's openly admitted to me that she's thought about suicide before, but you stopped her from doing it."

John blinked, shocked. "Oh my gosh! I mean... I meet crazy fans. Casual fans. But her... she's really a true fan, huh? She really thinks that much of me?" He asked, blushing. This girl talked more highly about him than his own parents. "I really can't wait to meet her. And don't tell her I'm coming. This has to be a surprise. I mean, I got to Make-A-Wish events and charity all the time but this just became personal." He chuckled.

"You give her a reason to wake up in the morning little brother," Kristen smiled. "I think she's the only one who really understand how important you are to her," she added. "Don't worry, I won't say a word."

John smiled. "Good. By the way, I gotta call my boss and take a couple weeks off... that beating from R-Truth and the whole being sick thing is too much for me to wrestle and travel. You don't mind if I stay here, do you?" He asked.

"Of course not, stay as long as you need to," said Kristen. "ain't nobody here but me."

John smiled. "Thanks. Same at my place. Just me. Well, me and my Dobermann. He was actually a service dog for me while I was rehabbing. Also a hearing dog because my accident cause me to go temporarily deaf. Whoever said Dobermann's were violent were big fat liars..." He chuckled.

Kristen nodded. "I'm never had any pets before," she said. "I'm allergic to cats, and can't have dogs here."

John shrugged. "Not even service dogs? They're supposed to be legal everywhere."

Kristen shrugged. "I wouldn't know, dogs kinda......kinda scare me."

"Aw, Carlisle is as gentle as can be. He kept me goin' through my recovery. Kept me company." he said with a smile. "Sometime, you'll have to go to NYC and meet him. By the way, in my condo I have a lot of fu blankets." He chuckled.

Kristen nodded. "That would be fun." she said. "I'll be up that way for competition."

John frowned. "Competition?" He asked.

"Voices of the Angels," said Kristen. "It's a national competition for handicapped vocalists, Amberlynn qualified, so I'm going with her."

John smiled. "I'm gonna have to go to that. I'm sure she'd be ecstatic to see John Morrison come to one of her competitions instead of the other way around. If she could, I'd even take her to Raw." He chuckled.

Kristen smiled. "She'd love that, her health permitting of course," she said. "She's she best student I have, youngest at her level."

"Whatever her health allows. Ringside seats. She sounds like a wonderful girl. I love meeting my fans." John said with smile.

Kristen nodded. "Speaking of health, how you feeling?"

John shrugged. "Nose is stuffed and my throat is sore but my nausea went away." He said with a smiled, sinking into the pillows.

"That's good," said Kristen. "I have to run a few errands tomorrow, pick up some music, just so you know."

John nodded. "That's cool. I'll either sleep, or if I'm not tired, you mind if I go with you?" He asked.

"I don't mind, if you wanna go you're more than welcome to," said Kristen.

John smiled. "Thanks." He said. "I just... get lonely easily."

"I know the feeling," said Kristen. "Except for my students, I'm always alone."

John nodded. "They guys on the roster are really nice but... when I'm in my hotel room, the loneliness sets in. Part of the reason I sometimes sleep around." He sighed before he yawned.
