John nodded and let it all out. He cried for a good half our before he calmed some. "T-Thanks... will... will you talk to Gianna for me? I'm sure she's scared at hearing her mother scream like he's being killed..." He sighed, wiping his eyes.

Randy smiled and nodded. He kissed John's cheek and wiped a few stray tears. He got up and walked to Gianna's room, knocking gently.

Gianna was up in an instant. "Come in... Is Mommy okay?" She asked worriedly.

Randy walked in, walking over to Gianna's bed and sitting next to her. "Mommy's fine."

Gianna crossed her arms. "You sure? It didn't sound like it. Don't lie to me..."%

"No, really. Mommy's fine. Like I said, he had a nightmare," Randy said.

Gianna sighed. "Okay... What did he dream about?"

"His childhood. Mommy had a bad childhood, but he's better. This happens sometimes, especially since he's pregnant," Randy said.

Gianna frowned. "What happened to him? I'm old enough to know, Daddy..."

"He... He was raped," Randy said, trying not to get mad about it. He showed his uncle what it was like to be put through torture.

Gianna gasps, her eyes filling with tears. She couldn't believe to. Her Mommy... the one who always was there for her when it came to boys. The one who cooked dinner, worked until he was 40... the one who did everything with a smile on his face, her mother... was raped. It made her mad. "How... How could someone do something like that?"

"Gianna, there's a of of bad people in this world. Some people are so sick and messed up that they don't feel regret or remorse," Randy said.

Gianna sighed, tears of frustration spilling over. "I know its just... different when you hear they've done something to someone you love..." She whispered.

Randy pulled Gianna into his arms. "Mommy's better now, though," he said.

Gianna nodded, pressing close to Randy. "Okay... was he... not well... when you two got together?" He asked.

Randy shrugged. "He was okay, but still feeling the effects. I got him help," he said and kissed her forehead.

Gianna nodded. "What did you think when you first met?" He asked.

"When we first met, I don't remember. When we first started hanging out, it was weird," Randy replied.

Gianna raised a brow. "Weird? Weird how?" He asked, curious about John and Randy's relationship in the very beginning.

"I had mono. It was right after I got HIV, though I didn't know I had it. John offered to let me stay with him," Randy said, a smile on his face as he thought about that day.

Gianna smiled. "And what.. do you like... go in his room, and never leave?" She chuckled.

"Pretty much, yeah," Randy chuckled. "I don't really know what attracted me to him enough to make me stay."

"Was it love at first sight? Like the when you two were in the hotel room... did you guys just immediately start dating?" Gianna asked, enjoying her little morning story time.

"Not really. We never officially started dating. It just kind of happened," Randy replied. He loved talking about him and John, especially to Gianna.

Gianna chuckled. "Did you guys fight a lot?" She asked.
