Mother of My Kid

Belle heated the oil and breaded the chicken before putting it in the oil. She went through the cabinets and got out corn

John watched, smiling slightly. He never really had anyone to cook for him. He always cooked for people, even as a kid. His father was a General in the Marines, his mother always worked, and hi sisters were useless. That left John to do most of the cooking and cleaning.

She flipped the chicken, started the corn, and made fake mash potatoes. Belle didn't have the energy to make real potatoes

John looked down, smiling when Gypsy rubbed against his leg. He quickly put food in her bowl before going back to watching Belle.

Belle put the food on two seperate plates before joining Johnny at the table. "Enjoy." She said smiling tiredly

"Thanks." John said, smiling brightly before he dug into the food.

Belle finished her dinner before putting her dish in the sink and going back to her office. She needed to finish her work before she went to the office the next day

"You should really take a break. The world won't end if you lay down in bed for a little bit." John said, stroking Gypsy's fur.

"I just gotta finish this." She responded not looking up from her laptop. Her body ached from long nights not sleeping though she hid it well

John huffed and closed her laptop shut. "Go to fucking sleep, or I'll drug you." He said bluntly and seriously.

Belle looked up shocked. No one had ever told her to stop working. They just let her work to death. She nodded before going upstairs

John smiled victoriously before heading upstairs himself to get ready for bed.

Belle sank into her bed letting sleep fully take her

John awoke the next morning, puking and sweating as he was hunched over the toilet. "Stupid... Morning... Sickness..." He whimpered to himself and puked again, his kitten rubbing his thigh, trying to comfort her owner.

The sounds of puking made Belle wake up. She stumbled to the bathroom to find Johnny puking so she rubbed his back.

John coughed. "This sucks..." He whimpered before retching again.

"I'll go get you water." Belle told him before turning and walking to the kitchen

John nodded, thanking Belle when she returned with his water. He sipped it before laying down on the bathroom floor. "Can I just stay here?"

She shook her head. "No come on, I'll help you up then get you a bucket." Belle took Johnny under his arms and helped him to his room before returning with a bucket as promised

"T-Thanks..." John whispered hoarsely, curling up under his comforter, closing his eyes.

She nodded before leaving Johnny. As she was at the door she looked back to him. "Need anything?"

John shook his head. "No thank-" He was cut off by the ringing of his phone. He answered it. "What?" He murmured. "What do you want Dave?... No, I'm not comin-... You can't make me-.... I'm pregnant so no-... I did not sleep with anyone! I'm a surrogate-... You can't.... N-No..." John started to tear up as Dave yelled at John, intimidating and belittling him like usual.

Belle quickly went to Johns side and heard another man yelling from the other end of the phone. Then she did something very unlike her: Belle took Johnnys phone and put it up to her ear. "Hello?...This is Belle. And watch your mouth....Yes he is my sarrogate.....No need to call him a whore.....This conversation is over. Do not call him again." She snapped the phone shut and turned it off. "Sleep well." Was all she said before getting up and leaving

John blinked, in shock that Belle had just dine that. He didn't think Belle would do something like that. But he was glad. He didn't have the emotional energy and strength to talk to Dave. He wanted nothing to dow with that man. John sighed, curling up under the covers and falling back asleep, Gypsy laying next to him.

Belle got dressed before writting a note to Johnny that she would be back in half in hour, just in case he woke up. She hated leaving him alone sick but she had to go and get his payment.
