Somebody Save Me From Myself (Open)

Ted smiled. "I love you, too, Johnny. I love you, too," he whispered, kissing Johns temple.

John awoke a few hours later, still curled up next to Ted in the hospital bed. He looked up at Ted and smiled. "Hey... how do you feel?" He asked, softly.

"A lot better. My breathing is normal," Ted replied, smiling at John.

"Good." John said sleepily as he sat up, stretching. "I looked like a hot mess don't I?" He asked, pouting slightly.

"Never," Ted said, holding back his laughter.

"Uh huh... I'm sure." John said, trying to fix his hair. "When did they say you could leave?" He asked, pulling a small mirror out of no where and fixing his appearance.

"I don't know. That's why I woke you up before. I was gonna ask you to ask them," Ted replied.

John nodded. "Sure... Hey Doctor!" He screamed, not wiling to get up out of bed. The Doctor rushed in, worried. "Don't worry, nothing's wrong. When can Teddy bear, here leave?" He asked, yawning. The Doctor nodded. "I can discharge him now if he's up to it." He replied. John nodded, glancing at Ted. "Wanna leave?" he asked.

Ted nodded hurriedly. He hated hospitals with a passion that burned with such an itensity, it could burn down Hell. He wanted to beat feet and get the fuck outta there. He stood up, swaying a little before he regained his balance and got dressed.

John fixed his appearance as best he could as he waited for Ted to get dressed. When he saw he was done, he held out his hand. "Ready?" He asked, smiling softly.

"You don't even know," Ted said, taking his hand and walking out.

John chuckled and let himself be pulled at record time out of the hospital. "Hate hospitals, huh?" John asked, though it was more of a statement.

"It's much stronger than hate," Ted said, wanting to kiss the ground when the got outside.

John smiled softly and reached, kissing Ted's cheek. "Aw, Teddy-bear, Johnny won't let the big bad hospitals bite you... though I'm petrified of them myself." He chuckled as they walked towards the car.

"If they weren't so necassary, I'd burn em down," Ted grumbled.

John giggled and got in the car, starting the vehicle. "I would too, Teddy. I would too..." He said as he drove bak to the hotel.

Ted looked out the window, watching the scenery. He thought about what had happened. He wasn't an alcoholic. At least, not to himself. In his mind, he could stop whenever he wanted. He just... never wanted to.

John's hand slipped into Ted's as he droved. He really hoped he would stop drinking. If he lost Ted to alcohol... it would kill him.

Until now. He never wanted to stop until now. He glanced at John, a small smile on his face. He squeezed his hand and relaxed against the seat, closing his eyes.

When they got back to the hotel, he turned to Ted. "C'mon Teddy, wake up. I'd carry you, but I'm not that strong." He chuckled as he gently shook ted awake.

Ted slapped away his hands. "Im not asleep. And are you trying to call me fat?" he asked, looking at John with an adorable pout.

John gave Ted a look. "I'm saying I'm not as muscled as you, and I;d drop you if I tried. If anything, I was giving you a compliment. And you are far from fat." He said, chuckling slightly as he got out of the car.

"Oh. Okay. Can we go upstairs now?" Ted asked, eyes half open.

"I'm waiting on you, baby." John said, already having opened Ted's door, waiting for him to get out.

"Oh," Ted said, getting out and stretching a bit, accidently smacking John in the face. Ted gasped and covered his mouth. "OhmiGod! Im so sorry!" he squealed like a girl, his eyes wide.
