Somebody Save Me From Myself (Open)

Ted saw nothing, heard nothing. Just totally surrounded by darkness. And then all of a sudden, a blinding light appeared, a few hundred yards away, calling him.
"Teddy... come to me..." It sounded so much like Cody that all he could do was listen.

John gasped as he awoke. he looked at Ted, and tried to forget his own nightmare and tried to wake him up. "Ted! Ted, wake up! C'mon baby, please! Wake up!" he yelled, afraid the older was out unconscious.

Ted just barely heard John before he walked into the light. He ooked back, then at the light, which was still calling to him.
"No..." he whispered. "I cant, Codes. John needs me. Im sorry," he said, before turning around. The light disappeared and he woke up, gasping.

John was still shaking from his nightmare, but he let out a shaky breath of relief when Ted awoke. "T-T-Ted..." He whispered.

Ted took big gulps of air, his lungs on fire. His chest felt heavy, like it was going to collapse. He hadnt felt this way last time. Apparently, he was closer to death this time.

John grabbed the phone, and dialed 911. After 3 minutes, they came, taking Ted away. John insisted he come with him. He held Ted's hand the entire time.

Ted cried. He couldnt stop it. The pain was too much, the feeling of suffocation too strong. He let them take him, tears running down his face the whole time. The only thing that kept Ted alive was John.

"Amore, it's okay. I'm here, stay with me... it's okay..." He whispered to Ted, refusing to let go of Ted's hand even when they took him into the emergency room.

Ted kept his eyes closed, listening to John, picturing Johns beautiful smile. He barely noticed the medics. All he noticed was John.

John kept talking to him. John calmed Ted, so the medics told him to stay. "Ted I won't leave you... Johnny won't hurt you, it'll be okay, I promise." He whispered softly.

Teds breathing stayed the way it was, coming in short, deep pants. But his chest felt lighter, like he could handle it. Ted realized at that moment that he was painfully aware of his whole body.

John gently stroked Ted's cheek as the medics took care of Ted. John wouldn't leave Ted, not now... not ever.

Ted cried out, his whole body aching. He felt every cell in his body move, every muscle contract and constrict. He felt his brain telling his body what to do, his heart beating a bit irregularly. He felt everything. He felt And it was torture.

"Teddy, don't focus on the pain, okay? Focus on me, my voice. Okay, listen to me..." He whispered, gently pressing his lips to Ted's temple.

Ted listened to John, trying to stop being so aware of his body. "Im trying..." he whispered hoarsly.

"That's good... look at me." He whispered, gently tilting Ted's chin so they were looking at one and other. He softly pressed his lips to Ted's.

Ted kissed him back, the pain slowly fading.

John caressed Ted's cheek, not breaking the kiss until they had to move him, and took him into a room at the hospital.

Ted sighed as John pulled away, opening his eyes. He felt instantly better.

John sighed and sat down in a chair in the waiting room. He hoped ted would be okay...

When Ted was in the room and the doctors were doing their test, he thought. About John, about himself, about Randy and Cody. And thats when he realized. He was in love with John.

John sunk down in the chair he was sitting in. He felt and looked horrible. His hair was tousled, there were bags in his eyes and he just did not look good. But for once, John didn't care. All he was worried about Ted. And John knew, someone who could take his thoughts off of himself for over 24 hours, was definitely worth loving.

"I... Want... John," Ted was able to gasp out. No one made a move to go get him. "Please." The doctors looked at him. One nodded to a nurse and the nurse went looking for John.

The nurse called him in, and John immediately went to Ted's room. He smiled softly when he saw him. "Teddy!" He said quietly, going over and gently sitting on the edge of his bed, taking his hand in his.

Ted smiled at him. "Hey... Johnny," he gasped out. He still had trouble breathing but he felt better with John there.
