Shadowed Love

Jeff took the pills, scowling a bit. He hated pills. He had the hardest time swalloing them.

Matt rubbed Jeff's back as he swallowed the pills. He knew Jeff hated them, but there really wasn't a choice when it came to Jeff being in pain.

Jeff smiled at Matt, leaning into him. "I love you," he said.

Matt smiled back, kissing Jeff on the tip of his nose. "Ah love you." He whispered.

Jeff smiled. For the first time in a week, he was happy again. No Adam, no Dave, no Dad, no drama. Just him and Matt.

Matt chuckled as Lucas jumped on Jeff, settling in between the two Hardy's. "You sure you want a big dog? They're...big, they slobber, and a pain to wash." Matt said.

Jeff chuckled. "Im positive I want a big dog. This thing can not protect me," he said, petting Lucas.

Matt smiled. "I know." He said, rubbing Lucas's belly. "But I know you love him, you just won't admit it." He said, chuckling.

Jeff rolled his eyes and looked at the time. "Can we go get my puppy now?" he asked Matt, his eyes wide and innocent.

Matt chuckled. "Of course, darlin'. Go get ready, no offense but you look like a hot mess." Matt said, grabbing his crutches and standing up.

Jeff smiled. "I am a hot mess, babe," he said, getting up and going into the bathroom to shower.

Matt chuckled. "But you're my hot mess." He said quietly, smiling to himself. He went in the living room, looking on the internet on his phone for puppy mills in the area.

Jeff showered quickly. When he was finished, he climbed out, wrapping a towel around his waist. He went into the bedroom, looking through his stuff when a thought occurred to him. He smirked. "Mattie?" he called.

Mat sighed, going into the bedroom. "What Jeff?" He asked, leaning on his crutches.

Jeff smiled at him, laying on the bed and spreading his legs obscenely. "I think I need some more rest," he said, his smile turning into a smirk.

Matt raised a brow. "Is that so?" He said, to turned on to realize the growing pain in his knee. "And what exactly do you want me to do about that?" he whispered, his hands running up and down Jeff's thighs.

Jeff sat up on his elbows, his lips alomst touching Matt. "Well, I think you need to, um, fuck me senseless," he replied.

Matt smiled, not thinking twice as he crawled on his knees closer to Jeff. The minute he put pressure on his brace, he cried out, collapsing on Jeff, holding his knee as pain shot through his leg.

Jeff instantly started to worry. "Mattie, are you okay?" he asked, laying Matt on his back. That stupid knee really needed to heal.

Matt growled, curses flying out of his mouth. "God-fucking-dammit I fucking hate this fucking thing!" Matt yelled. After a few minutes, the pain dulled a little and he sat up. "Looks like I won't be fucking you senseless till the doctor says I can." Matt sighed.

Jeff smiled, placing a hand on his brothers cheek. "Thats fine, Mattie. As long as youre okay. Im gonna get dressed and go find myself a puppy, okay?" Jeff said.

Matt smiled. "Alright, darlin'." He said,sitting up and taking one of his pain pills.

Jeff smiled, getting ready. When he deemed himself fit, he turned to Matt. "Ill be back later," he said, leaning down and kissing Matt.

Matt kissed. "Be careful, there are more pervs in the city than in the country." He said, laying down, Lucas resting on his stomach.

Jeff rolled his eyes. "Mattie, Ill be fine. Ill have my cell," he said, sliding his cell in his pocket and putting his shoes on.
