Pity The Child

"I know Johnny," smiled Amber gently. "You want a hug?"

John nodded and wrapped his arms around her, feeling himself want to cry all over again. John never did well with break ups.

Amber hugged John. "I know it hurts, but we're here okay?"

John nodded. "T-Thank you..." he whispered, sniffling slightly before settling back under his comforter.

Amber smiled. "Anything I can do, I will."

John smiled. "Stay with me until I'm asleep?" He asked, biting his lip, feeling exhausted.

Both girls nodded. "Of course Johnny."

John smiled softly. "THanks..." He murmured, settling back in his bed, slowly drifting off to sleep as he tried to forget Matt.

Amber smiled. She told Kristen she would stay with John until he woke up.

John sighed in his sleep. It was surprising he had even fallen asleep at all. But sleeping was better than crying. Hell, John would probably end up sleeping for the next few days.

Amber ended up leaving the room after a while, but every few hours she'd come back to check on John.

John eventually awoke, groaning as he had a headache. He ran a hand through his hair and rubbed his templed. He grabbed his mirror off one of his nightstands and he looked like a hot mess. He sighed and got up, going into the living room.

Kristen turned when she saw him. "Hey Johnny," she smiled.

"Hey..." John mumbled, laying down in the couch face first. "I feel like crap..." He groaned.

"Awwwww poor Johnny," said Amber. "Anything I can do?"

"Get me a bottle of Scotch but I don't think I should drink with you here." John chuckled.

"No, you shouldn't," said Amber with a chuckle. "That'd be a bad idea."

John chuckled quietly. "How about hot chocolate?" He asked.

"That sounds like a better idea," smiled the green eyed blonde.

John smiled. "Kriiiissstyyyyy, make me hot chocolate!" He whined like a child.

Kristen chuckled softly. "Okay Johnny," she said, leaving the room.

John smiled and curled up on the couch under his fur blanket. He looked at Amber. "You been enjoying the music room?" He chuckled.

Amber nodded. "Of course, music is my life."

John nodded. "I know how it feels.. the dedication. The drive. You'll go far. I know I'll see you on Broadway someday." He said with a smile.

Amber blushed slightly. "My dream role is on of the most vocally complex in Broadway history."
