"Okay.. if he comes and gets them..." He sighed and changed his mind. He wanted to hide but they had to officially end things...

Lane kissed his forehead. "It will be okay, Ill be right here to remind you what your doing this for alright Boo?"

"Okay babe.." He nodded. It'd be okay if Lane was with him...

Mike ran until his legs gave out on him, letting him fall to the ground, his head smacking against the cold Earth while hot tears escaped his eyes.
What an idiot.....
He thought Alex would wait for him...
No he gets with Mike's bestfriend and has his baby.

Alex had been told that Mike was dead.... he was moving on... he hadn't known...

Mike would not have moved on in only three months....
Maybe that was why he hurt so much...

Normally, Alex wouldn't either but Lane.... was perfect... he was right there when Alex was mourning... he'd fixed Alex...

Lane had that power, he was a good man. He was someone you could lean on, a stone wall that never broke.

That was what Alex had needed when he thought Mike was dead.... Lane had mended his broken heart, and now it was his.

Lane put Alex to bed, laying with him.
"Alex...."
This was not what most people would call a nice proposal, he had no ring but he did have a promise of forever.
"Wanna marry me?"

Lane sounded so calm and casual about the whole thing... it took all Alex had not to squeal.
"Sure." He answered, trying to sound nonchalant but there was a clear edge of excitement.

Lane smirked, just waiting. He knew Alex couldnt hold it in for long.

A few minutes of dead silence passed before Alex squealed and clapped his hands.

Lane laughed, sitting up and hugging Alex.
"I was waiting for that Boo." He loved when Alex squealed...
He loved all of Alex's noises.

"I'm gonna be Alex McCormick!" He exclaimed, beaming.

"You will make an adorable mommy and husband for me." He nodded. "Your perfect Boo!!"

"I aint but you sure as hell are!" He grinned, huggnig Lane tightly.

Lane shook his head.
'I dont even have a ring." He would get one though.

"Thats okay baby! I dont need a ring as long as I got you..."

Lane shook his head.
"I love you so much. But I will get you a ring and all Boo..."

"Well if you really wanna..." He laughed lightly, hugging him even tighter. "God I'm so fucking happy..."

"Me too baby."
Only miserable one was Mike...
He was all alone...
He had lived for nothing.
He picked himself up and tried to find a hotel but his bag had his money...
His bag was at Alex's..

The bag laid on the floor in the corner of his and Lane's bedroom, an unwelcome reminder of the moment that would soon have to come...

Lane ignored it, he was all to happy to be worrying about Mike and what he could do. Alex was his, he was sure of that.

Alex knew this too but he didn't want to confront Mike...
