Face Down (for randy)

Randy smiled as he stepped out of the car. He loved driving. It was amazing. He looked over at Brett, smiling when he saw his face. He walked over and put his arm around the younger.
"One day, I'll take you out on my bike," he smiles at the younger man. John rolls his eyes and leaves the two alone.

Brett wasn't sure what to say so he just rested his head on Randy's shoulder.

Randy smiles. He leads Brett to the tents where they were supposed to be doing signing. He saw John, Punk, Alex and Mike, but no Ted. He frowned and sat down, giving Brett Johns chair.

Brett bit his lip as he sat next to Randy, he had hoped to see his brother.

About a half an hour into the signing, Ted shows up in sweat, a t-shirt and running shoes, sunglasses over his eyes and his hair a mess. Everyone was too busy to look at him. Well, Randy, John, Phil, Alex and Mike were.

Brett stood up as he brother arrived and started to make his way over to him.

Ted saw Brett and headed in the opposite way. He couldn't face his brother. Now now, not like this. Not under the circumstances.

Brett bit his lip as he watched Ted walk in the opposite direction, it hurt that his older brother was cutting him out like this.

Randy looked next to him and saw Brett gone. He started to panic, eyes wide as he frantically looked around.

Brett sighed sadly as he made his way back over to Randy.

When Randy spotted Brett, he calmed down a bit, sitting back down and signing mire autographs.

Brett sat back down next to Randy.

Randy glanced at Brett then back down at the picture he was signing.
"Everything okay?" he asked in a low tone.

Brett sighed and answered softly "No, Teddy was here but he wouldn't even talk to me."

Randy sighed as he signed his last thing. He turned to Brett and put a hand on his knee.
"It'll be okay. We'll get him to talk eventually. You know your brother. He's stubborn. We just gotta be patient," he smiles lightly at Brett.

Brett nodded and grabbed Randy's hand before giving him a small smile.

Randy looked over at John.
"Can you catch a ride back?" he asked. John nodded. Randy smiled and pulled Brett up and dragged him to the car. "Get in babe," he said, getting in the drivers seat.

Brett got into the front seat.

Randy smiled at him, pulling out of the parking lot.
"So what do you want to do?" Randy asked, looking at Brett.

Brett thought for a second "I don't know." he answered.

Randy smiled widely, still looking at him.
"Lets go shopping!" he said excitedly, looking at Brett for a reaction.

"Ok sounds fun." Brett answered with a smile.

Randy finally turned back to the road, taking a sharp left and heading to the nearby mall. About 5 minutes later, they were there.

Brett sighed as Randy parked the car, he hoped he'd get used to Randy's way of driving soon.

Randy got out and walked over to Bretts side, opening the door and holding out his hand.
