Golden Monster

Zack smiled seeing him. "Hey bro, fancy meeting you here!" He called to Kane as he patiently awaited a waitress to seat him. (You mind playing Zack's waitress?)

Kane slumped down in his seat as the same waitress that had been waiting on him spoke with Zack and started to look for a seat for him. He was too far away to hear her speaking but judging by her body language she was pretty much reacting to him the same way she had to him. That was another reason why he hated females; they were all cheating whores.

He sat back up when the little woman brought Zack over and motioned for him to take a seat; her voice lilting and annoying as she spoke.

"I hope you don't mind, you seem to know each other and with the lunch time rush it's hard to find an extra seat anywhere."

Before he could object she moved away and he was left staring at Zack, seriously thinking at that moment that chokelamming him through the table would be the best thing.

Zack nodded in understanding and decided to sit across from Kane. "What are the odds, huh bro?" He laughed.

Kane just stared at Zack, the muscle under his left eye twitching. It didn't seem to matter where he went the overly tan man from long island was there.

"You were put on earth just to harrass me weren't you?"

Zack blinked then laughed. "Hell no bro, why on earth would I do that?" He asked.

Flabbergasted Kane opened his mouth and then closed it again; no words coming forth. Before his meal even arrived he slid from the booth, leaving money on the table and left. His semi good mood was shattered, he had no idea what on earth Zack seemed to be following him.

If he was a conspiracy theorist he'd be paranoid, but as it were he just chalked it up to all the bad deeds he's done in his past being visited upon him in the form of one Zack Ryder. He thought about heading back to the hotel but that wouldn't fix anything as they were sharing a room and sooner or later he'd be back.

The jumping muscle in his cheek returned and he decided that while he was going back to the hotel he was going to head to the spa and spend some time in the sauna. Maybe the hot steam would help him relax and he wouldn't hurt the shorter man the next time he seen him.

Zack shrugged at this. He figured Kane would come around eventually.

The steam swirled around him and he breathed it deep; letting it calm his senses. There had been other talent in the sauna when he'd showed up but they vacated when he turned his patented scowl on them.

His mind however wasn't calm, it kept running in circles back to Ryder and it kept him from truly relaxing. He had to know why the young man seemed to be everywhere he was.

Kane didn't believe in accidents; he was a full subscriber to conspiracies. After all when you've been through as much as he had in his life you didn't put much stock into anyone but yourself. Not to mention that he was now the Heavy Weight Champion so he had a target on his back.

(back at the restaurant)

The waitress moved back over to the table, a smile on her face until she realized that instead of two patrons there was only one. She was going to inquire about where he had gone but spied the bills on the table. With a shrug she pocketed them for his bill and turned to the other gentleman with his meal.

She sat it down and smiled, her voice a highpitched falsetto. "Is there anything else I can help you with sir."

"No, but thank you though." He replied.

She nodded and moved away from the table; her day full and busy.

(at the hotel)

Kane lay across the steam bench, his arm over his eyes as he took breath after deep breath. He was trying hard to calm down and let things go. After all the company shrink said if he could find a way to let go of his anger he'd be nearly completely normal.

It was something that he scoffed at; there was no way he'd ever be considered normal. Not with his family history anyways. His eyelids started to droop closed as his breathing evened out and before he knew it he was fast asleep on the bench.

(Diner)

She circled the table a couple of times before stopping at the table and asking in a syrupy sweet voice.

"You done hunny? Or do you need anything else?"

"No, I'm good thanks." (OOC: 200th post, yay)

The waitress nodded her head and left the check; snapping her gum loudly as she moved through the crowded diner to take care of her other tables.


(hotel)

Feeling relaxed Kane headed back to his room and flopped down on the bed naked as the day he was born. His eyes fluttering shut again as his head landed on the pillow.

Sleep though wasn't in his cards and he spent most of it tossing and turning as his mind kept running in circles; first it was thinking of his title and the nice run he was going to have and then it was to Zack Ryder. He couldn't figure the kid out. Most were scared of his and the fact that the kid wasn't made his head hurt...alot.

Zack calmly paid for his meal, and left the restaurant, deciding to go back to the hotel and maybe chat up some chicks.

Finally Kane had had enough and pulled himself from the bed; his head had been going around in circles and he had to know why Zack kept popping up where he was. He dressed hurriedly; pulling jeans up his long legs and pulling on a shirt that was just on the right side of tight.

He grabbed the room key and left; stalking through the hotel on his hunt for the man from long island.

By this point, Zack had gotten back to the hotel and was on his way back to his and Kane's room, not realizing The Big Red Machine was already stalking the halls for him..

Everywhere he stopped he was told that he had just missed Zack and as the hunt wore on the more agitated he became until he finally cornered the tan man. With loud growl he grabbed Zack up by the collar and shook him.

"I don't know what's going on, but it's going to stop. You're going to stop showing up where I am, you're going to stop stealing into my mind, you're going to stop making me think of you." He shook Zack one more time for good measure before dropping him; his chest heaving.

Zack looked up at the taller man, totally lost. "Bro, I have no idea what your talking about."

Kane's eyes narrowed as he searched the other man's face. It was clear to see that he was honestly confused but to Kane's twisted mind; everyone was playing games with him, out to make a fool of him and Zack Ryder was no different. He reached back out to grab Zack's shirt but stopped himself, pulling his hand away and backed up before turning and leaving; deciding that retreat was the better part of valor since at that point if he got hands around Zack's throat again it wouldn't end well for the tan man.

"Man, what is wrong with him?" Zack mumbled to himself.

He tried to find a place to hide, he couldn't hide in the room because he was sharing with Zack but thankfully it was almost time to change cities and he scowled as he stalked down the people that made the reservations and put the fear of god into them that if he didn't get a room to himself that he'd have to go and chokeslam a few people and that it wouldn't nothing like that happened on tv. They wouldn't be getting back up afterwards.
