Sweet Serendipity

Junior sighed and stared at the wall, tracing circles in the back of John's hand absent-mindedly.

John kissed Junior's shoulder. "You okay, baby?" He asked quietly.

"Yeah. I guess. No. I don't know," Junior said, sighing.

"i'm sorry, baby." John sighed, sitting up and leaning against the head board, stroking Junior's short hair. "Anything I can do?" He asked.

Junior shook his head and turned over, laying his head in John's lap.

John gazed down at Junior as he stroked his hair. He wished he could do something to make him feel better.

Junior sighed and closed his eyes, slowly drifting off to sleep.

John watched Junior fall asleep before laying back down, pulling him to his chest and falling asleep as well.

Junior woke up a few hours later, feeling like crap. He groaned and snuggled into John, burying his face in the older man's chest.

John was till fast asleep, snoring quietly, and his hair all over his face. He was still incredibly exhausted, and did not want to get up at all. He sighed in his slep, tightening his grip in his lover.

Junior's head was killing him, and he was achy. "Johnny..." he groaned.

John groaned, slowly awaking from his peaceful sleep. "What?" He whined tiredly.

Junior whimpered, burying his face more into Johns chest. "Hurts," he said.

John sighed. "I'm sorry baby. Whataya want me to do?" He mumbled, still half asleep as he rubbed Junior's back.

"Make it stop," Junior whimpered, looking atJohn. His eyes were bloodshot and they had dark circles around them. He was sickly pale, sweat coating his body.

John finally opened his eyes and saw how bad Junior looked. "Shit, baby..." He said and felt his forehead. "Your burning up." He said as he sat up, stroking Junior's pale cheek.

Junior whipered and curled up into a ball. "I feel so hot yet so cold," he cried, tears running down his face.

"I'm sorry baby. It's detox. If I take you tot he hospital, they'll keep you there and won't let me see you. You wanna go there or stay here?" He asked, feeling bad for Junior. but he knew once the worse was over, it'd get better.

"I just want it to stop," Junior said quietly, wiping the tears from his eyes.

"Okay baby, you need to go to the hospital." John said softly. He got dressed and dressed Junior before gently picking him up bridal style, holding him to his chest and taking him out to the car.

Junior didn't fight John. He just let him do whatever. John could be taking him to an abandoned field to kill him and he wouldn't care. He hurt all over.

John took Junior to the hospital. And when the nurses try to push John away, he gave them a dark look and they immediately let him stay with his lover. John took Junior's hand, stroking his cheek as the Doctor worked on him.

Junior just laid there, letting the doctors do what they needed. He didn't care of they gave him a crapload of meds. He just wanted to be better. And this wasn't the first time he had detoxed.

When the Doctors finished, John sat next to Junior's bed. He watched him for a little bit before he fell into a fitful sleep.

When the doctor's stopped working, Junior was already asleep. He shivered and groaned, whimpered and shuddered. The drugs were leaving his system and they were taking their damn time doin' it.
