Your Arms Feel Like Home

John smiled. "Oh yeah." He said, looking at Randy's arm and back at the paper. "I've thought of getting a tattoo. but I'm a wimp when it comes to needles." He chuckled.

"It's not quite as bad as people make it out to be. Obviously it hurts, but its not like a shot," Randy said.

"I can deal with pain, but needles just... creep me out." John shivered.

Randy chuckled. "It's so small you don't even see it. Seriously."

"Well I'll see it, because I'm weird like that." He chuckled and moved closer to Randy. "Please, dance with me just once?" He pleaded.

Randy bit his lip. "Um... Uh... I don't dance," he came up with, probably the lamest excuse ever.

"C'mon, everybody can dance. It's just a matter of knowing how to use the right moves." He said, pulling Randy up and turning on the stereo. He put Randy's hands on his hips.

"I don't dance," Randy repeated. "Not a matter of can or can't. I just don't."

John frowned, letting Randy go. "Oh." He said quietly, a little disappointed. "Um... can I ask why?"

Randy shrugged. "Just not my thing. Sorry," he said, smiling in apology. Dancing... always brought bad experiences for him.

John crossed his arms. "There's more. C'mon, you can tell me. I know you just met me but... who am I gonna tell?" He chuckled. "Did you have a bad experience at a high school dance or something?"

"I, um, no. A few years ago, I was with someone. We were at a club, and we were dancing. I elbowed him in the gut and he fell, hit his hard real hard. He went to the hospital and was in a coma for three months. He died," Randy said.

"O-Oh.." John said, nervously biting his lip. "Well... when I first started dancing, I was dancing with a girl. I dropped her on a lift, she fell on his neck and lost feeling in her right arm. She didn't die but still... It didn't stop me from dancing." He said.

"Because dancing is your passion, not mine. Drawing is my passion, and fighting. I haven't danced since and I don't plan on dancing again," Randy said.

"Yes, well-" John was cut off when his cell went off. He huffed and answered it. "Hello-... What?!" He shrieked when Cody started to talk million miles an hour. "Ted did what?!..." He yelled into the phones. Apparently, Ted did some stupid stunt off the stage and broke his leg. "Well find me another partner..." he hissed. "What do you mean everyone is taken?!" John screamed, very much pissed off and worried. He needed a dance partner. Their routine could not be done if John didn't have a partner.

Randy frowned as John freaked out. Apparently, something bad had happened. Randy sighed. This is why he did solo acts. You can't always depend upon someone else. Randy never did. The only person you could trust was yourself.

"Cody, it'll be fine.. I'l find a partner." John sighed and hung up. He looked at Randy. "Sorry about that. My dance partner broke his leg and I need a new part... You!" John squealed. "You be my partner!"

"No," Randy said instantly, shaking his head. He wouldn't do it. He wasn't going to dance again.

"Randy, please! There's a world tour coming up and I need a partner. I can't be in it if I don't have a partner. And if they don't have lead dancer, they can't perform. Please..." John whimpered, getting on his knees and putting his saddest pout.

"John, I can't. Dancing isn't my thing. And I have a few pieces that I need to get done for an exhibit. It's coming up pretty soon," Randy lied.

"Randy, please..." He whimpered. "If I don't go on this tour... The company will loose a lot of money. ANd if they loose money, then they'll start firing dancers. Randy I need you, please..." He whimpered.

Randy bit his lip. He was in a serious dilemma. John needed him but what he needed him for was something he vowed to never do again. He sighed. "Fine," he caved.

John squealed happily, jumping up and down and clapping his hand, his smiled amazingly bright. "Thank you!" He shrieked happily an jumped on Randy, kissing him passionately. It was he first time they kissed... and John felt himself melt against Randy's lips.

Randy smiled and kissed him back, cupping John's face. Their first kiss... And it felt so right.

John wrapped his arms tight around Randy's waist. WHen they pulled away, he smiled. "Good kisser." He chuckled. "Lets hope your dancing is as good as your kissing."
