My Kinda Party

"I know losing gymnastics has given me many great things... but all I can think about is what could have been. I could have been and Olympic Gold medalist..." John said, biting his lip.

"Yeh never would have met me," Carter frowned.

John looked up at him. "And I'd give everything I have and everything I am for you..." He whispered.

Carter shook his head, "I would never, never ask yeh to do that."

John smiled. "I love you so much..."

Carter kissed him softly, "Yer so sweet..."

John blushed. "I know... but I can be a total bitch... you know that." He chuckled. "Would you like to see my bars routine? It got me a perfect 10. And I think you know how hard that is..."

Carter smiled, "I'd love to see yeh do what yeh love."

John smiled and went to go strap on his grips.

Carter hobbled over to chair, careful not to let John see him in pain.

John hopped up on the spring and began his complex routine. Every flip and turn from one bar to the other carefully planned and precise. It was at the highest level of difficulty, and made John look as if he defied the laws of gravity the way he flipped and twisted through the air.

Carter stared up at him, smiling.

John landed on the mat, sticking it perfectly. "That took me months and months to perfect." He chuckled, sitting with Carter.

"Really?" Carter smield.

John nodded. "Yeah. But it was worth the perfect ten. That routine is in the history books, like any other 10 scoring routine."

"And yeh deserve it babe," Carter smiled.

John smiled. "Thanks. And you deserve to be on NXT. I'll talk to Vince soon."

Carter smiled, "Thank yeh Johnny."

John smiled. "Wanna get back in the ring?" He asked.

Carter shook his head adamantly, "No."

John nodded. "Okay then. Wanna go up and I can make us lunch?" He asked.

Carter frowned, "Um...is there an elevator?"

John nodded and guided Carter to the elevator, pushing the button to his floor.

Carter hobbled there, winicing in pain.

John wrapped an arm around Carter, helping him walk. They reached the condo, John helping him to the bed. "You need anything? Ice? Heating pad? Pain killer?" He asked, biting his lip.
