Don't You Wanna Stay?

Adam laid on his bed, most of the pack member surrounding his bed. Adam lay, deathly pale, hair limp. His eyes closed, and his breathing was shallow... on the brink of death. Three months. That was too much time away from a mate. He couldn't take it. He had slipped in a horrible depression. And if he didn't die of heartache alone, he'd kill himself... or have the pack kill him themselves... put him out of his misery. His mate... he just needed his mate...

Randy didn't realize what Adam had been going through as he walked through the housing building to their dorm. SO the looks he was getting were bringing his mood down. He had only been away for three days... Then he remember that time ran differently up there. He had been gone for three months. He approached the door, taking a deep breath and turning the door knob. He walked in, shocked by the sight.

Adam's nose twitched at a familiar scent, but was too broken and depressed... to weak to get up and open his eyes. The members of the pack looked at Randy, growling and glaring. Matt eyed Randy. "You have some nerve coming here. You leave him for three fucking months? How could you do that?" He snapped.

"I... I didn't realize it was so long. Time up there is different. I... I didn't know," Randy replied, his eyes never leaving Adam.

Matt scoffed. "He's almost dead. You better fix it. Because if our Alpha dies..." He trailed off, shaking his head, not wanting to explain what could a happen. "Let's just say, a pack always needs an Alpha." Matt whispered.

Randy just pushed him out of the way, not hearing him. He climbed into bed next to Adam and pulled him close. "Addy... Baby, it's me. I'm here. I'm right here."

Adam's eyes snapped open, looking up at Randy. "R-Randy..." He whispered, the name sounding foreign on his lips. He sat up, getting a good look at him. "No... n way... you left me... this can't be..." He said, shaking his head, wanting the delusions to go away.

Randy smiled sadly at him. His only reply was a soft, loving kiss to Adam's lips.

Adam blinked before he realized.. it was real. He deepened the kiss and crushed Randy to his chest, tears slipping down his cheeks. "Don't ever do that to me again..." He whispered before passionately kissing Randy.

Randy had tears falling down his own cheeks, though they were no longer silver. They were gold. He looked into Adam's eyes. "I promise," he said quietly and kissed him again.

Adam sniffed and held Randy close to him, never wanting to let go. He looked down, stroking the soft, golden wings. "They're beautiful." He whispered, resting his head on top on Randy's.

Randy smiled. "Yeah. Fallen angels' wings depend on their situations. They can be pretty much any color but gold and white. Angels' are gold and white," he replied.

"My angel..." Adam whispered. "What exactly did you do up there?" He asked, pressing his lips to Randy's temple.

"A lot of painful things I plan on never going through again," Randy replied as he thought about his time in Heaven.

Adam raised a brow, his hold on Randy tightening. "Painful? Like what?" He asked, frowning.

"It's complicated. It's all mental, really. We have bodies up there, but not like people do here. Don't worry. I'm fine. I feel 100 times better than I did before I went up," Randy replied, loving Adam's protectiveness. It scared him how much he missed this man.

Adam nodded. "Well down here, I was just depressed and on the brink of death. But You're back, and I just wanna... move forward. But I am never letting you outta my arms ever again, for anything." He said, resting his chin on Randy's shoulder.

Randy smiled softly. "I'm sorry. I didn't know I would be so long. If I had known, I wouldn't have gone," he said.

Adam sighed and nodded. "If you had warned me, I would have been able to prepare myself. But I thought you left me, and that's why I got in my condition. But it's over now, and your here. And you're not leaving my sight for anything." He chuckled, kissing his cheek.

Randy frowned slightly. "I can't pee in front of people," he said.

Adam snorted. "You serious? Shy bladder?" He snickered, lightly teasing Randy.

"No. It's just weird. Like, why would I want someone to watch me piss?" Randy replied.

"Well, I'mma dog. I don't give two shits if someone sees me piss or not." Adams said. "And by the way, I have never pissed on a fir hydrant." He muttered, hating when people asked him that.

"I wasn't going to ask that," Randy said. "And I don't care if they watch. I just think it's weird."

Adam nodded. "True. So I'll let go go to piss... but I get to watch you shower." He smirked, kissing Rand's neck.
