My Kinda Party

"Damn, I'm datin' a sissy city boy?" He teased.

John pouted. "I'm not sissy! I'm just... flamboyent. I enjoy shopping more than the average male. I care about my hair, way too much. My looks are my pride and joy." He chuckled. "Deal with it."

Carter laughed, "I don't give a damn bout my apperance. Except my hat. My hat is my pride and joy."

John laughed. "So what exactly do you do? Do you work a farm or something?" He asked.

"Yes sir. I do farm work for my grandfather. Feeding animals, movin hay, tilling fields, planting seeds. You know, usually hick boy stuff," Carter smiled.

John smiled. "I'm dating a straight up redneck. Well, I was a gymnast. Woulda gone to the Olympics. But now I do... well, the obvious." He chuckled.

"I am not a redneck. Redneck are rude to their lovers and tend to be racist. I'm a southern boy."

John nodded. "Sorry. I'm not from the south. I wouldn't now. And I never dated a southern boy, before. Should be different." He said with a smile.

"Usually is. We tend to think differently than the rest of the world, chivalry isn't dead to us."

John smiled. "Nice. So this means you're gonna hold the door open for me and all that gentlemen stuff?" He chuckled.

Carter nodded, "Yes sir." he fished his wallet out of his pocket and pulled a twenty out. He walked over to Hank and handed it to him.

"Now, boy, I told you it was on the house."

"I know, this is for being such a damn good cook. It's yer tip." Carter laughed.

John smiled. Many men John had dated made him pay because of who he was and they knew John could more than afford it. Dating a country boy would definitely be different. And he was glad. Carter was the sweetest badass he'd ever met.

Carter walked back to the table, "Sorry about that. Hank and Darla let me live with them for the few days it took my grandfather to get here in Tennesse. I would have been lost without them."

John smiled. "It's okay. That's real sweet of you." He said as he stood. "Well, I'm finished. I can't eat anymore." He chuckled.

Carter smiled, "Well we should probably go meet Nolee somewhere shouldn't we?"

John nodded. "Yeah. She said she would be at the hotel restaurant. We should get going." He said with a smile. "I still can't believe you're her sister!"

"I'm not her sister, I'm her brother," laughed Carter. He stopped, "John...what if she doesn't like me?"

John laughed. "Oops, guess I'm still drunk." He laughed. "And of course she'll like you... your siblings. You're biologically programmed to love each other."

Carter shook his head, "Yeah and they say you'll always have a mothers love. Mine wanted me gone."

"Okay, whoever wrote these quotes was stupid." John said. "But I know Nolee. She'll love you!...Wonder what she'll say when I tell her I'm dating her long lost brother." He chuckled.

"What quotes?" Carter asked, cocking his head ot hte side.

John blinked. "You never... those are... its... Forget it." He chuckled, shaking his head. "Must be a city thing. Half of the English language is quotes from cliche movies to the northern folks." He chuckled. "By the way, I hate scary movies. I'll be crying or screaming the entire time."

Carter laughed, "I like them but give me a good classic movie any day of the week. Wanna win my heart? Pop in an old John Wayne movie."

John nodded. "So your the kinds guy who's willing to cuddle with me and watch a movie? Not fuck me 24/7 and boss me around?" He asked, considering that's how his usual relationships worked out.

"Who the hell would want to boss you around? That ain't my style. The fucking though, if you're up for it then I'm up for it babe," Carter smirked.
