Aftermath

"If you say so," Heath sits down on the bed, chuckling when he sees that his cat, Santa, has made herself comfortable on top of John's travel bag.

John chuckled, but then winced when Hunter hissed at the other cat, scaring her away and made himself comfortable in the same spot. "I'm really sorry about him." John said, rubbing the back of his neck. "I suggest you go check your backyard for dead animals." He said, going and picking up Hunter, holding him in his arms.

"It's okay, John; I'm sure if Santa was an outdoor cat he'd do the same thing. My guys are too lazy to wanna head outside. Don't worry about it."

John nodded, but winced slightly. Hunter couldn't be classified as a cat, more like a wild animal... John sighed, laying down on the bed and gently massaging his bad knee.

"You need an icepack?" Without waiting for an answer, Heath heads into the kitchen and grabs one. Anyone who wrestled for more than a month tended to have one handy. "I'm gonna clean up the kitchen. Heating pad's in the nightstand if you need it. If we're going to be driving for a few hours today, you might as well rest up."

John smiled. "Thank you." He whispered softly. He went to go get the heating pad and wrapped it around the small of his back, which was also a soar spot, before curling up in the middle of the bed and falling asleep.

Heath does what he always does when he's rattled about something - he cleans. Once he's done with the kitchen, he cleans up around the pool, making sure it's properly maintained, clearing out the filters, doing anything he can to occupy his mind and his hands.

John awoke when he felt Buster lay completely on top of him. "Dog...*sneeze*... get...*sneeze*...off...*sneeze*...me...*sneeze*...please...*sneeze*..." John gasped in between sneezes. He sneezed for at least 5 minutes straight. "Heath!...*sneeze*..." John called out, not being able to get the dog off.

Heath frowns and heads back into the room, rolling his eyes. "Buster, OUTSIDE!"

The dog scampers off, going back into the living room and immediately going to bed.

"Hell, I'm sorry. You need those pills again?"

John sneezed before nodding. "Yes please... why does he love me so much? Is it my cologne?" He asked before sneezing.

Heath cracks a smile; 'Maybe if you stopped wearing chicken broth... No, I really don't know why he likes you so much." He runs his fingers through Johnny's hair, "maybe because I like you so much."

John smiled softly. "You're too sweet. I remember when I was young, this big, huge stray mastiff would follow me from school everyday. Even though I was allergic, I would always pet him, and I would save part of my lunch and feed it to him." He said, chuckling softly at the memories.

"Well no wonder he kept following you." Heath laughs. "Hell just going by the way you cook, I might have to start following you around too."

John chuckled. "Why thank you. I guess I'll be cooking more often then. And since I'm Italian, I make a very good tiramisù." He said with a smile.

"If that is a desert, you are definitely talkin' my language. I can put together a mean chili if the situation calls for it." He stretches out on the bed next to him, wincing.

John chuckled. "You'll love it, I'll go buy the stuff tomorrow and make it for you after we're done with my Mommy and Daddy... and yes, I still call my parents Mommy and Daddy." John blushed.

"I call mine Momma and Daddy, but I'm Southern, so you can't say anything." He nods, then laughs.

John chuckled. "I'm as LA as a young, tan, 30 year old male can get." John chuckled, laying down on Heath's chest.

"Well so long as we don't stay out too long, I'd love to hit some of the beaches."

John smiled. "Try not sun burn. I'm actually very pale if I didn't tan so much." He admitted. It was true. Even if he didn't have to, he waxed and tanned his legs as well as the rest of his body. "I need a waxing when we get there anyway." he said.

"Dude, you're lucky. Ten minutes in the sun and I roast. Trust me, it ain't pretty."

John chuckled. "Other than my head or face... I haven't got a hair on my body, but you already know that." He giggled. "And sometimes I get too tan... I remember I had the worst, most orange tan ever... and I had to go against Sheamus. That sure helped the situation." He laughed.

"Hey now, no ragging on Sheamus. Go Team Ginger." Heath flicks his own hair playfully, then does his trademark crazy hair shake.

John raised a brow. "Go team Italians." He said, doing a Maryse-like hair flip, except he looked ten times sexier doing it.

He arches an eyebrow; "Oooh oui?" He starts trying to sing Maryse's theme song, but there are three major problems with it:

He can't speak French
He has no idea what the words are
He can't sing

Within three lines, Buster, curled up in the other room, begins to howl.
