Life As He Knew It (Open)

John smiled. "Not if I wake up first. I'm an insomniac, Randy. I always wake up early." He chuckled, tracing circles on Randy's chest.

"I used to room with Cody and Im a man of routine. I always wake up early," Randy said with a smile. "And Im an incredibly light sleeper."

John, chuckled. "At least you sleep through the night. Sometimes I just wish someone would drug me just so I can fall asleep. I fell asleep behind the wheel of a car, one time." John said.

"Ill make sure you sleep through the night. Trust me," he said with a smirk.

John smiled. "I can't wait." He purred as he settled into Randy's arms. "But if I scream during the night, try to ignore me." John murmured, his leg wrapping around Randy's waist.

Randy quirked an eyebrow. "Why would you be screaming during the night?"

"Nightmares... nothing you need to worry about. Just wake me up if I get too loud." John said, sighing.

"Nightmares? How often do you get them?" Randy asked.

John shrugged. "Probably like... every couple of nights. Sometimes there no big deal, sometimes they're really vivid." He explained.

"They mght be night terrors," Randy said, his mind running a million miles a minute.

"Yeah, night terrors, that's what their called. I had them a lot as a kid. They stopped eventually but started up again. I know, I have many sleeping issues." John chuckled softly.

"Did you try to do anything about them?" Randy asked, sitting up and lookibg around for his bag.

"Yeah... I tried a long list of sleeping pills, all of which just made me sick. Hell, I even tried... masturbating... to wear myself out but I still woke up in the middle of the night." John said, watching as Randy looked for his bag.

"Sleeping pills arent gonna help. Where the hell is my bag?" Randy growled, frustrated.

John pointed a chair in the corner, where Randy's bag was sitting in plain sight. "Over there. Whataya need it for?" He asked.

Randy got up, walking over to it and digging through it. He pulled out a book and his cell phone, walking back over to the bed and sitting down cross-legged.

John raised a brow. "Watcha doing?" He asked, slowly sitting up

Randy flipped open the book, going to the section he knew so well. "In high school and college, I took psychology. I specialized in night terrors," he said and started to skim the book.

John nodded, glancing over at the book. But there was a bunch of big words and other crap that John couldn't understand. "So... you think you can help me? 'Cause I haven't had a full nights sleep in... years." John said.

"I myself cant help you. I didnt stay with it. But I know some people. Have you heard of Dr. Alex Sharon?" Randy asked, still reading.

"No..." John said nervously. He hated doctors, in every shape and form. He despised and feared every type of doctor. Whether medical or phycological. "You know... I think I'll stick with sleeping pills." John said nervously, staring down at his lap.

Randy looked at John. "Trust me, he's amazing. He's cured so many people of their night terrors which in turn cured their insomnia. I went to school with him. We've kept in touch," Randy said before looking back at the book.

John's heart dropped. Not only was he was he a doctor, but he was a male doctor, which was even worse. "Randy, you don't need to do all this. You have mono, you don't need to focus on me and all my sleeping disorders I've always been like his. Hell, I have a panic disorder too, and I've lived with that. And Randy.... I don't like any type of doctor." John admitted, sounding like a frightened 5 year old.

"John, this isnt gonna get better if you dont do something about it. This guy is the best in the country, possibly in the workd, and I just happen to know him. Its fate, John. My mono will go away in time but this wont," Randy replied.

John sighed, and looked up at Randy. "Fine, I'll check him out. But... will you go with me? Like when I have to tell him all my problems and shit?" John asked.
