Careful what you say

Seth was on the floor in a daze after falling. He stared up at the roof, temporarily forgetting what had made him fall. "Ow..." He whimpered quietly.

Jay swallowed hard, "Are you ok?" Adam walked in, "Whats going on?"

Seth slowly sat up, rubbing his head. "Um..."

Jay tired to remember the night before, all he remember was kissing Seth.

"Are you ok Jay?" Adam asked, not looking at Seth, who was still on the floor.

Seth sat there, trying to force himself to remember something. All he could remember was seeing Jay at the bar and looking out the window at the lights, Jay had sat next to him and...

Seth swore.

Jay bit his lip hard as he heard Seth swear. He swallowed hard at looked at Adam and then slowly he looked at Seth.

Adam looked back at Jay with his eyebrow raised, as if to say 'Again?'

Seth looked shocked, but said nothing.

Jay got up the best he could and pulled Adam into the hallway. "Addy.... I kissed him again."

Adam sighed as he looked at Jay. "And you were drunk I take it?" He guessed. He could smell the alcohol.

Seth stayed where he was on the floor, still remembering the rest of the night.

Jay nodded slowly, "I had another run in with Randy and i wanted to get my mind off it. I didn't mean to get drunk, didn't mean to kiss him again. But it felt right."

"Jay-Jay..." Adam sighed. "You like him, don't you? Then why not ask him out instead of getting drunk?" He said, grinning as he teased his friend.

Jay sighed, "Addy's he's against being with another guy. He only hit on me cause he was drunk. He doesn't even remember." Jay bit his lip again and slide down the wall.

Adam kneeled beside him and put a hand on his shoulder. "If he's hitting on you I highly doubt he's against it." He said, brushing a hand through his hair. "Sounds more like he just thinks he's straight..." Adam said, smirking.

"What do i do Addy?" Jay asked softly, as he looked at his friend.

Adam thought about it. "I...don't know." He sighed. "Maybe get him to realise he isn't?"

"How, he's not going to talk to me again after last night." Jay said.

"You don't know that." Adam said, knowing he wasn't being very helpful right now.

Jay just sighed before rubbing his head, "Ugg Addy i remember why i don't drink now..."

Adam laughed at him. "Drinking is fine, maybe just don't drink so much."

Jay nodded before slowly getting up and walking back into the room.

Adam patted Jay's shoulder as he got up and watched him go back in. Adam stood as well and went for a walk, not leaving yet incase he was needed again.

Seth hadn't moved much from when Jay had left the room, only having moved from where he was sitting to lean against his bed.

Jay sighed and sat on his bed, he didn't know what to say.

Seth was lost in thought, trying to figure what made him do what he did last night. He still looked just as scared as he had when he'd woke up.

"Are you ok?" Jay asked nervously.

Seth slowly shook his head. He was sitting hugging his knees, staring at the floor infront of him.
"Why would I do that if I'm..." He said quietly, more to himself, thinking out loud than to Jay; though he knew the other man would hear it.
