You Saved Me

Dave sighed and sat next to Randy on the bed, shaking him awake. "C'mon, wake up. I gotta take you back." He said.

Randy whimpered as his eyes fluttered open and he looked at Dave. "Do I have to?" he asked quietly.

Dave sighed. "They're looking for you. I'm sorry." He said quietly. "If I could get you out I would."

Randy nodded and stood groggily, stretching his long limbs and groaning as the muscles tensed.

Dave finished getting dressed, butting on a shirt and whatnot =, slipping on his doctor coat before waiting for Randy so he could bring him back to his cell.

Randy sighed as they walked back to his cell. The kast thing he wanted was to be there.

When they got there, Randy looked down and walked in not even glancing at Dave.

Dave sighed and locked the cell door, his chest aching for some reason at what he was doing to the man. He hated having to do this, specifically to Randy.

Randy laid on the bed and curled up into a ball, the voices startign to creep into his head, talking to him.

Dave treated other patients as usual. But the whole time, Randy was on the back of his mind. He felt bad the man had to go though all of this and be here. He'd check on his later in the day.

Randy stayed curled up on his bed all day, even when he was allowed to leave and converse with the others. He didn't want to deal with anyone. He wanted to get the hell out of here. He wanted to live again. Be happy again. But it seemed that he couldn't. That he never would be.

Dave was on his way to Randy's room, hoping the younger man was okay. He unlocked his door and walked in, seeing Randy curled up in a ball on his bed. "You okay?" He asked, shutting the door behind him and leaning against it.

"No," Randy said quietly. "I'm here. I'm never okay," he added. And it was true. Being in that place only made the voices worse. Only made him feel like a caged animal with no freedom. He wasn't an animal, no matter what the judge or anyone else said.

Dave sighed and nodded. "I know." He said quietly an sat next Randy on the bed, hand lightly stroking his warm back. "That's why... I'm doing what I can to get you out." He said.

"They're never gonna let me out. Ever. I'll never be fit to leave. Not in their eyes. Not in anyone's eyes. I'm always dangerous so long as I'm alive," Randy said quietly, relaxing slightly from Dave's touch. He knew that so long the doctors had something to do about it, he would never get out.

"Well, maybe I'll just have to sneak you out." Dave said with casual shrug as he stroked Randy's back, kissing the back of his neck. He loved how warm the man was under his finger tips. Randy was gorgeous.

Randy looked at him with wide eyes. "What?" he whispered, unbelieving.

"Randy, your not gonna get better here. My goal is to get you better, to give a peaceful mind. Not control you or keep you a caged animal. Being in a cell, having the other doctor's poke and prod your with countless needles... that's making you worse. They can't see that, so I'm just gonna have to take you out of here myself." He said, stroking Randy's thigh.

Randy couldn't believe it. What Dave was suggesting... It was illegal. He had done a lot of illegal things, but never break out of an asylum. "Uh... Wow."

Dave shrugged. Legal and Illegal... the line between was paper thin for him. "You want to? We're not gonna get caught. I never get caught." He said with a shrug. "You'll just have to uh, lay low for a while.

"I... I can try," Randy replied. "I don't always have a lot of control," he added, hating his problems.

"Don't worry. I'm working on that..." Dave said and pulled out a bottle of pills. "I literally went to the ends of the earth to find these. They're gonna completely silence the voices for 13 hours, with no changes to your regular feelings, unlike your other meds."

Randy looked at the pills skeptically. There were side effects to all medications. "What are the side effects? And don't tell me there are none," he said.

"Headaches, insomnia, and/or giddiness. Your muscles will also feel a bit sore, but the more you take the pills, the side effects will start to go down." Dave said. "You don't have to take them if you don't want to."

"I already have all of those. So I might as well," Randy said, holding out his hand.

Dave handed Randy a pill before closing the bottle and putting it in his pocket. "I'm just trying to get you batter." He said, rubbing Randy's thigh.
