9 year old Jay Reso sat watching the dead plant that had been his mothers. Jay had just lost her and all he had left now was the plant. Jay closed his eyes sadly trying not to cry again and wishing he could fix his mother's most loved plant. When he opened them he was suprised to find the plant in full health.

1o year old Phil Brooks watched sadly as the other kids played outside. He had to stay in because he was sick. Phil sighed softly and wish for rain. Phil was shocked when it started to rain hard.

Belle was always odd. At about 8 she was being picked on by some mean girls. So mad she felt her hands getting warm. Like she was on fire. The girls eyes went wide and they ran from her. Looking down Belle saw she was in fact holding fire in her own hands without getting burned.

Amy swam through the ocean when she was 7. She was out farther than she had meant to and the waves were huge. One crept up on her and dunked her under. She couldn't breath. Or thats what she thought. Amy quickly realized that she could breath. Not only that but she somehow controlled the water around her to bring her to the surface.

John was 12 years old. He had stepped out of the shower. When he looked into the mirror, he screamed. His smooth, tan skin was replaced with blue, scaled skin. His bright green eyes had turned gold, like a feline's. His senses had been heightened, his reflexes increased tenfold. His voice, altered slightly. To man 12 year old boys, it was a dream come true. But for John, he was living his worse nightmare. He hated his true skin. And when he finally figured out how to shift into many shapes and forms, he stayed in his original, normal looking body as much as he could. He took pride in his appearance, and for them to be ruined was just... horrible. It pained him to look in the mirror in his true skin. Only few people saw his blue, scaly form. His sister, Amy and his parents. It would take a team full of friends and people like him to get John to even consider showing his true self.

Junior had always been very proud of himself, and very smart. When he was in 3rd grade and he moved something without even touching it, he freaked out. And when he heard thoughts that were not his own, he yelled at people to get out of his head. After a while, he figured out how to control his powers. Later on, in about 5th grade, he could levitate as well.

December had a rough life growing, never knowing her real parents. So when she was 10, and started doing things most couldn't do, she freaked out. She started to research and figured out that they were powers of daemons, or fallen angels. Which meant that her parents were fallen angels. And she vowed to find them.

Little Ezera DiBiase. Always fortunate. Grew up with money and a brother and father to protect her. It wasn't really in her family to be smart, so her straight A's were a constant shock. Then, when she was 12, she really wanted a new pair of shoes, but her parents and brother were to busy. So she made a pair appear, and they were gorgeous. And she didn't freak out. She just went with it.

When she turned 16, she had gone though at least a hundred boyfriends. A little heartbreak she was. She drew them in with her good looks and sugary voice, dated them for a while and then dropped them, moving onto the next the next day.

Christy was about 17, when she started to develop her powers. Her mother was working around an unstable experiment, which went horribly wrong. It killed her mother and gave her strange abilities. Small objects taht could be thrown, like poker cards, or plates, she could somehow manipulate their structure, and cause them to explode upon contact.

Hemme started to use these powers against people, when a man attempted to rape her, as she killed him in self-defense. She started to use her abilities as a vigilante, to stop the wicked from harming others.

Jay smiled as he tended the plants in his shop, making a small plant bloom beautifully. he looked up as a man walked in. "Jay Reso?" he asked. Jay nodded "Thats me." he answered. The man smiled. "My boss would like to meet you and see your powers in action. Jay stared at the man "How do you know about...." The man laughed "We have our ways."

Phil was walking in park when a man walked towards him "Phil Brooks?" Phil nodded slowly. 'Yeah?" The man grinned "My boss would like to meet you."

Belle walked alone on the street playing with her fire. She was alone. She checked before she played with her fire. Or at least Belle thought she was alone. That was until the man step from an allieway. "Belle Moore." he said and she stopped using her fire before he stepped out. "yes." Belle said cautiously. "I have someone who wants to see you."

Amy swam with the dolphins late at night. It was her favorite time to do it. When she could really connect with them. She could stay under for hours. it was an odd power, to control water. But she had mastered it. Amy came up for air and was greeted by a man who wasn't there before. "Amy Hennigan, your coming with me." Was all he said before pulling her out of the water.

John was shifted in his blue skin, staring at himself in his mirror. He hated his. He ran his hands over his scaly skin, missing how it used to be softly and smooth. He shifted back into his regular form, and smiled. If only he could stay that way. Granted, he loved his gift, loved being able to copy any human form. He just wished the blue skin wasn't apart of it. He frowned hearing a knock on his door. He walked over. "John Hennigan? Sister of Amy Hennigan?" The strange man asked. John nodded. "Um, yeah." he said carefully. "Come with me." He said and grabbed John.

Junior was walking down the street, reading the minds if people he passed. He wasn't paying much attention to where he was going, which happens a lot when he read people's minds. So when he bumped into someone, he simply apologized and stepped away. The person grabbed him. He looked at him and frowned when he read his thoughts. "You're coming with me," he said, raking his arm and dragging him along.

December was at home, playing with her abilities, trying to learn all she could do. She could throw fire balls, shimmer places as if she were relaunching and change skin. When she changed skin. He was blue and white, her hair sparkly silver and her eyes matched her skin. She was beautiful, yet scary. There was a knock at the door and she got up, pushing her powers back.
"December Winter?" a man asked.
"Yes?" she replied.
"Come with me," he said and pulled her from the house.

Ezera was with her current boyfriend, about to break his heart. She loved to play with her little toys. Men were lining up all down the street for her, sometimes quite literally.
"I'm sorry, Mike, but I don't want this anymore," she said, her voice sad and remorseful though inside she was laughing.
"But- Why?" Mike said.
"Mike, please. Just, let me go," she said and kissed his cheek, walking away, sashaying her hips and smirking. On her way home, she was stopped.
"Ezera DiBiase?" he asked.
"If you want an autograph from my brother or father, I can't get it for you," she said, trying to push past him.
"I don't want an autograph. My boss would like to meet you," he said, and pushed her into a car.

Christy was in pursuit of a man, who just mugged someone else, as she had a bandana over the lower portion of her face, as she sprinted after him. The redhead found a frisbee on the ground, an dpicked it up, while in pursuit. The mugger ran down an alley, while Christy thrown the frisbee up, and charged it, causing it to explode, and sending rubble from the buildign to fall on the robber knocking him out.

She looked over at him, exhausted from the running, and the extended charge, as all of a suden, she felt a mosquito bite the back of her neck. She reached back to find a dart, as she passed out. A man in a grey armani suit said to the man driving the car. "This one is dangerous... We can't have any chances."

Nolee had always been smart. She had started walking and talking before other children her age. She had started reading classics while the others were still preoccupied with Cat in The Hat and Go Dog Go. Perhaps that's why she never felt at home when she was with people her own age. She liked talking the more mature things with older people. At the ripe age of 18, she had already finished college. She was a child prodigy and a virtuoso with the violin. Now, at the age of 24, she was working with a company and helping to build technology that she was never told what it did. But she was sure it helped people. She had a gift and she was damn greatful for it.

Carter growled as he stood in line to cash the check that he had gotten from his job at the nature conversation area he worked at. People disgusted him. Unlike animals, they were rude and crude. Animals did what they need to survive and he understood that. He did what he needed to survive, he talked with them. Yeah, he knew he was probably crazy, but when he had been abanoned as a child, he stayed with doing what he wanted. He lived out in the middle of no where. As he cashed his check, he saw two men standign there waiting for him, "Do yeh boys need help?"

"Carter Lacroix?"

"That's the name," Carter smirked.

"You're coming with us," the men grabbed his arms, growling almost.

Jay sat nervously in the huge metal room. He felt cut of from plants and nature, he hated the feeling. Jay bit his lip as he looked at the others in the room.

Phil sighed, he'd been stuck in here for hours and he was getting a little pissed.

Alex looked around the room at the new people, that the man had brought.

Belle was pushed into a room causing her to growl. She didn't like being manhandled. The guy was lucky Belle didn't set him on fire. Looking around she noticed the guys in the room. None of them looked similar so she wondered what the hell they were all doing here.

Being led to the room Amy kept quiet. The guys flanked her on either side and she didn't like it. Finally they put her in a room. There were 5 guys and the rest were girls. Sighing she went and sat against a wall. Amy was tired.

John hissed as he was roughly shoved into a room. He growled at them like a feline, his yellow eyes sparkling as he was pissed off. He didn't like being pushed around. He looked around the room, frowning when he saw Amy. "Amy? What are you doing here?"

Junior was walked to a room, the door being opened for him and then slammed behind him. He flinched and looked around, not recognizing anything.

Ezera bit her lip, the grip the two men had on her was especially tight. They shoved her into a room and she fell, glaring as she stood and wiped of her clothes. "I'm so gonna sue they're asses. My dad'll hear about this! And and my brother will kick your asses!" she yelled at the door.

December didn't struggle as they brought her to a room filled with people, slamming the door behind her. She chuckled. Like that would keep her here. She could shimmer, which meant she could go from being in Georgia to Russia in minutes. She looked around, not really knowing anyone.

Two men carried the unconscious red-head, and then opened the door, hurling her into the padded room. Everyone looked at her in wonder, as Christy began to wake up. She looked over at the one direction she was in, feeling herself cuffed. She wanted to charge out of it, but the blast would take off her hands. Christy then said to the other people in the building... "Where are we? And who are you?"

Nolee watched the group as it formed through the plexi glass window. These were the people the man she worked for wanted to help. They all seemed to be from different walks of life, from different areas in the world. She looked at them and then hung her head. "No one wants to be cooped up here forever", that one line from the animated Hunchback of Notre Dame ran through her head. Though she was brilliant, she indulged in childish movies. Often they taught the best lessons. She hoped that these men and women weren't going to be kept like animals in a zoo. Carter growled like a caged animal as he paced the cell he and some others were locked in. He HATED captivity, needed freedom. He scratched at the scruff on his face, hoping the others weren't timid of how he looked.

Jay watched the pacing man, he was starting to get really depressed from the feeling of being cut off. Jay really needed to have his plants. He suddenly remembered he had some of his seeds in his pocket. He got a seed out and started to make it grow. Jay started to relax a little.

Phil smiled as he watched the plant emerge from the seed. He focused his power and made a small rain cloud and sent it to water the plant.

Alex watched in wonder, he wasn't the only one with gifts now.

Christy looked over at the little flowers growing, astonished that it could be done. She started to struggle within her handcuffs, and said to the group.

"Whenever these guys let their guard down, if you can get these handcuffs off me, I can get us out of here."

Carter smiled at the flowers and then at the man who had created them. There was something special to it and he reached down, touching it softly with his hand. Nature was his friend. He stood back up and looked at the young man, "You're like me, aren't you?"

Nolee smiled at the flowers, lilacs. Her favorite. She rarely got to see them and this was special to her. These men and women had powers, they could do things...

John glanced at the two mutants, his attention pulled away from his sister for now. He raised a brow. So he wasn't the one who was different. He walked over, and sat in a chair infront of them, crossing his lithe legs. "You guys too, huh?" H asked softly.
