My Kinda Party

Carter nodded, "THe only clothes I have with me are the clothes in my suitcase anyways."

John nodded and glanced at the time. "We should get going." He said, getting up and getting his ring gear ready.

Carter stood up, taking John's hand in his. "You know...I wouldn't mind workin with yeh. I mean, I may not be a fighter but there are other things I can do."

John smiled. "You could be my manager. Escort me to the ring. Hold open the ropes. I'm out of the closet anyway." He chuckled, shouldering his bag.

"Would Vinny Mac let me do that? I mean, the fans don't judge yeh for being gay?" Carter shrugged.

John shook his head. "99% of my fan base is teenage girls. And the girls loved me even more when I came out. The kids.... they really don't care." He chuckled. "Vince... one lap dance and I could get him to jump off the Brooklyn Bridge if I wanted.

Carter looked at him, a steely tone flashing in his eyes, "Yeh NOT giving another man a lap dance."

John jumped a little. "Okay, okay... No lap dances." He chuckled, taking Carter's hand as they walked out of the hotel.

"I'm a bit possessive when I want and love something," Carter said. "And baby, I love yeh."

John smiled brightly. "Thank god, 'cause I love you too. I was afraid to say it though, incase it was too early." He said, looking down.

Carter smiled, "My grandfather once told me that if a man was to ashamed to admit that he loved yeh, it meant that he wasn't sure. Yeh weren't ashamed though and I like that. I'm open about my feelings, yeh can speak yeh mind to me."

John smiled. "I'm lucky I found you." He said, kissing Carter's cheek. "I've dated jerks and gold diggers and whores... You're the only... good guy, other than Shawm, I've ever been with." He said, lightly squeezing Carter's hand before he got in the car.

"Seems to be a common theme here with me and Shawn," laughed Carter. "We both lived in Texas."

John smiled. "You both have southern morals. Both are complete gentlemen... guess I'm a sucker for southern boys. God, my Mom will freak. She wanted me to marry either another wrestler or someone on Wall Street or a Lawyer or Doctor or something..." He muttered, rolling his eyes.

"Well I'll just have to get a job as a wrestler now won't I?" Carter laughed.

John chuckled. "Wrestling... it's a tough job. It's hard and it hurts. You need charisma and... I don't want you getting hurt." He said, biting his lip. "I'd rather have you be my manager and make sure nobody interferes with my matches... because people ALWAYS do that to me." He said, pouting a little.

"Why would anyone wanna make a hot, sweet young man like yeh lose a match? I bet yeh great at fighting," Carter smiled as he walked with John outside to the truck.

John shrugged. "I'm a midcard. And well... It's mostly the Diva's that don't like me, because I wont sleep with them. And some people just like picking on me." He chuckled, sliding in the truck.

"I see anybody pickin on yeh and I'm gonna beat their ass," Carter vowed.

John smiled. "Aw, my night and shining armor." He chuckled. They arrived at the arena but before they got to close to the back entrance, John handed Carter a VIP pass. "Here, don't loose it."

Carter smirked, "Are yeh kiddin me? I'd lose my own head if it wasn't attached."

John chuckled. They walked past security, and John pulled Carter into his private dressing room.

Carter looked around, "Nice place yeh got here-" he stopped himself, "Is...is that a fur rug?" he wasn't a vegan or vegitarian by any means of the imagination but he knew that most fur was just for the sake of killing the animal and nothing was done with the meat. That just irked him.

John shrugged. "Yeah. I love fur. I have fur blankets on my bed and my couch. My ring gear is faux, though. WWE wouldn't allow real animal." He said, rolling his eyes as he started to get changed.

Carter looked at him, "Yeh know that most of them animals are just killed for the fur right? Nothing else gets done with the meat."
