John smiled. "Good to know. And you'd be surprised. I've dated plenty of assholes. Why I stayed with them, I don't know. I've been called names, and even been slapped around. I've had sex when I wasn't even turned on. I guess because I'm submissive, I'm easy to push around. It wasn't abuse or anything, just those few things." He sighed.

"Guys who treat the ones they love like that don't deserve to have a cock," Carter said bluntly. "You're to beautiful to have done that. I may like rough sex but I don't like makin a guy do it when he doesn't want to."

John smiled softly, blushing a little. "I shoulda dated a southern boy a long time ago... preferably you." He chuckled and kissed Carter. He'd been called sexy, hot, drop dead gorgeous... beautiful wasn't too common, surprisingly.

Carter kissed him back, "I'm glad I found you John Hennigan. I was close to drinking myself to death anyways." he had never admitted that to anyone. But after going to long without a result to his search for his sister, he had given up hope.

John frowned. "Well I'm glad I found you before that happened." He said softly. "Why would you wanna drink yourself to death?" He asked.

"I...I spent eight years lookin for my sister. I had given up," Carter hesitated, "I'm a real ass sometimes. I hurt a lot of people on my way here, broke a few hearts."

John sighed and nodded. Eight years... That was a long time. He looked up at Carter. "You won't break my heart... will you?" He asked quietly.

"Let me put it this way, if I didn't call you a whore and drop you off on the side of the road, I'm not gonna hurt you."

John chuckled. "Alright then." He said with a smile. "We should really get going so Nolee is still at the restaurant." He said, pulling Carter over to the truck.

Carter smiled, "Yeah we should, shouldn't we?"

John nodded and slid into the truck. He didn't even like trucks... but he loved this one. Hell, he fucked in it. That says something. John didn't always have to be high maintenance.

Carter smiled and got in next to him, "My music ain't gonna bother you is it darlin'?"

John shook his head. "No. I like all music... except for Opera. That shit makes me bored to tears." He chuckled.

Carter smiled, "I like some opera. The Carmin soundtrack is bravisimo!"

John looked at him and chuckled. "Wow, wouldn't have pegged you for the opera kind of guy." He said with a smile. He was surprised.

"I'm complicated. I like a lot of different things," Carter laughed. "I got into opera a few years ago when I dated a stage actor. He was into listening to the music when we had sex."

John chuckled harder. "I could never have sex to opera. Now Nickelback, I could fuck to them. Mariah Carrey? I could make slow sweet love to her. But opera? I'm sorry, no way in hell could I get it up to that." He laughed.

"If you would have had the guy I did, you would change your mind," laughed Carter, eyes glue to the road.

John raised a brow. "Was he good in bed?" He asked, leaning his cheek against Carter's shoulder, looking up at him.

"Not half the man you are," Carter replied.

John smiled. "Good." He said before smiling when he heard a song play through the radio. "I love that song." He said and started to sing along with Trace Akin's Ladies Love Country Boys. Even if it was country, John was still an amazing singer.

Carter smirked, "Your voice is amazing. I didn't think a city boy like you would know Trace."

John smiled. "He's my favorite country singer. And thank you. I get practice for my voice from all the screaming..." He said with a smirk.

Carter smirked, "When's the next time we're gonna get you some vocal practice?"

"If I don't get too beat up after the show, tonight definitely." He purred.
