What happens in Vegas

Ezera smiled. "My day was pretty good. Busy, but that's to be expected for a casino host. It was good until I got here. That guy was here. The one from your room. Your friend. The one who scared me. Matt? No. Mick? No. Mike? Ah, that's it. Michael. Yeah, him," she said frowning slightly. "I do not appreciate his talking to me. And when I told him to leave, he did not listen."

Kevin stilled and he fought a growl when he heard about Michael. Stiffly he nodded his head, his voice thick and growled.

"I apologize Goddess. Rest assured that I will take this in my own hands and make sure it doesn't happen again."

Ezera smiled slightly. "Thanks. I mean, I won't show that he scares me, but he scares the shit outta me," she chuckled. "Funny. I'm not one who scares easily. But when it looks like someone wants to eat me? Yeah, that's some scary shit," she added.

"Eat you, you say? I'm not sure what you mean by that Goddess." Kevin stands and offers Ezera his hand, making himself smile. "Come Goddess the night is young and I'm putting myself into your hands. Do with me what you will."

Ezera smiled and took his hand, standing up. She looked around, unsure of what she wanted to do. "Well, I don't really wanna dance. Um, a walk, maybe?" she asked, smiling as she looked up at him.

Kevin offered her his elbow. "A walk it is then Goddess. Any where you have in mind to go?"

He wove them through the bustling crowd to the main door; keeping his senses up for Michael as they went. He might seem calm and collected but just under his rigorous control he was seething and he would be getting back with Michael about his trespass even after he'd been warned away.

"Not really. Just around. Doesn't matter where, so long as you're there, too," Ezera smiled sweetly as they walked. And she meant what she said. She really didn't care where they went, because she was with Kevin, and at the moment, that was all she really cared about. The Michael thing still had her a bit shook up, but she pushed away so her time with Kevin wasn't ruined.

Kevin tilted his head to the right and thought, there really weren't many places he'd not been so he chose a park that was just outside of the neon lights of the city; the gardens one of his favorite places to hunt. the moon light was bright as they walked and he picked a random flower as they walked and handed it Ezera, smiling.

"Not as beautiful as you Goddess but a pretty piece non the less."

Ezera smiled and took the flower, smelling it. It smelled good. She looked around. She had never been here. "I've never been here before. Which is shocking. I've seen most of Vegas. I don't know why I've never been here before," she said, pondering on why she had never been to such a beautiful face.

"Well you live here in this city Goddess, I'm sure there are many people that don't know about it and have lived her longer than you. Most people don't see most things that are right in front of them Goddess, only because they are too busy to really notice."

He lead her deeper into the park, taking her through the hedge maze that was bedecked with moonflowers and fire flies flitting lazily on the hot air. Normally by this time he was feeding on those he brought here but with Ezera he wanted to actually explore the beauty this time.

Ezera nodded as she contemplated his words. "Yeah, I guess that's true. And my brother and dad kept me pretty sheltered from a lot of Vegas. Don't get me wrong, I've been most places here, but there are a few they find "too dangerous for a young girl who is so beautiful." My dad even said "People aren't like they were when I grew up. Places are far more dangerous, especially for you." I love them, but they teach me like such a child sometimes," she sighed softly and looked around at all the beauty surrounding her.

Kevin laughed as he patted her hand where it was tucked into his elbow.

"Well you're your dad's only daughter, so it's only reasonable that he keep you sheltered. But sometimes you have live your life, despite all others good intentions. But yes, there are places that are too dangerous for you, and even I will contest to that."

He smiled motioned to the sky where the stars were glittering brightly and the moon hung in pregnant pause.

"If i believed in fairy tales and old wives tales, I'd say that tonight is the perfect night for a werewolf." He smirked at Ezera, leaning close to her ear. "Are you afraid of the Big Bad Wolf Goddess?"

Ezera chuckled. "The Big Bad Wolf ain't got nothin' on me," she replied with a smile. "What about you? You scared of the Bug Bad Wolf?"

The night was beautiful, and she, too, thought that this would be a good night for a werewolf. And she did believe in it. She believed there were things in the night that were highly dangerous. She felt safe, though, with Kevin by her side.

"Ha! The Big Bad Wolf doesn't have anything on me Goddess. I would turn him into a wold skin rug."

Kevin laughed heartily though he really was glad he'd only run into a werewolf once in the course of his life times. And one time was one time too many in his opinion. As they turned a corner in the path the sound of what could only be termed passionate love making was heard and he pinked up, turning his look at her.

"Iapologize Goddess, I didn't realize that the park was a place used for trysts."

Quickly he led Ezera away, the rutting of the two bodies still loud in his sensitive ears.

Ezera raised an eyebrow, having not heard anything. "I have no idea what you're talking about," she said, looking around. "And what is a tryst? You speak so proper and I don't understand," she added, frowning a bit.

Kevin blinked and looked at Ezera, not sure if she was teasing him or not; how could she near the slapping of skin or the moaning.

"A tryst, Goddess, an...adult meeting that ends in panting, sweating and screaming if done right. Surely you've heard of that word before."

"Sex," Ezera said. "Why didn't you just saying that? Ya make things so complicated," she added, rolling her eyes and laughing. "No, I didn't hear anything. But my hearing hasn't always been the best. I was born with minimum hearing. The figured I'd be deaf by age two. But my hearing got better. It's still worse than normal, but hey, I get by."

"Well..I...ha...." Kevin was flustered and he looked away, his years of genteel upbringing making it hard for him to speak of such matters with Ezera. "So, you don't have all you're hearing? Was it hard growing up Goddess like that?"

He steered Ezera out of the gardens finally, leading her over to a bench near a large fountain that had different colored water pouring from each tier.

"Well, when I was a kid it was pretty good. When I got into my teens, it started to mess up again. They don't know why. I went from being basically deaf to normal and then just hard at hearing. They don't know if it'll get better again, if it'll stay the same or continue to get worse. They tell me to stay away from headphones and concerts, anything that can make it worse," Ezera replied after she sat down.

"Well then, there goes my offer to take you to the orchestra this evening." He grinned as he scooted closer to her, never taking his eyes off her face as he watched the moonlight play across her face. "Goddess you are so beautiful, I know you must be tired of hearing that. But everytime I see you, you take my breath away even more than the time before."

He picked up her hand and kissed the back of it before leaning in closer and lightly brushing his lips across hers.

Ezera smiled at the compliment. She was sick of hearing it, but from Kevin, she would never tire of it.

When he brushed his lips against hers, her heart skipped a beat and she pressed her lips more firmly, cupping his face and closing her eyes. She knew nothing would happen, but it was 'just a kiss on the lips in the moonlight', as sung by Lady Antebellum.

Gently Kevin gathered her close, his tongue snaking out and lapping at her lips in silent plea for entry as his hands roamed her small frame. Normally by now he'd have had his meal writhing in his lap as he bit down; letting them feel the most exquisite pain before they passed on. But with Ezera he wanted to no only savor her beauty but he wanted to actually spend normal time with her; if he wasn't dying of hunger that is. No matter how much he wanted to protect her he knew he couldn't guarantee her safety then.

Ezera opened her mouth eagerly, wanting to taste the sweet uniqueosity that is Kevin. Usually, she was a wam-bam-thank-you-ma'am type of person, but with Kevin, she wanted to have a legitimate relationship and spend time with him. If her father and brother knew what she was up to, they would insist upon meeting the man.

Kevin took his time; swirling his tongue around her mouth as his hands molded her to him, the scent of her skin more intoxicating than even the feel of the blood coursing through her veins, or the thrum of it that he could hear so loudly in his ears.

The want was very clear to him and under any other circumstances he would have given in to his desires; but there was something that made it impossible for him to 'defile' her beauty. His breathing was ragged and his eyes a little glazed over when he pulled away; his lips quirked into a grin as his hand kept massaging her lower back.

"Goddess, you're lips are like the finest wine and every time you allow me to drink from them I feel as if I am intoxicated; bewitched and befuddled by your beauty and light. You're turning into an addiction that I don't want to quit."

Ezera smiled at him, his words sweeter than anything she had ever experienced. "I don't want you to quit either," she breathed, still breathless from the intense kiss. He was becoming a drug for her, too, and she didn't want to quit him, either. She didn't want him to leave Vegas in a week, or however long he was staying. She had just met him, and already she never wanted him to leave. This was a first for her. And it was scary.
