It was after A big match in Backlash, Mike had some how managed to hurt little Baby faced Bourne and he....He felt bad about it...
And that fact was the reason he was looking around back stage, still clad in his ring gear, chewing his lip and peeking around for Evan, worried and ready to apologize. Sure most fans thought he had meant to do it but the real Mike was a sweet guy, the Miz was an exaggerated ego he wished he could be but no, Mike Mizanin was sweet, and loving, he was a protective lover and he sometimes did lack self esteem. This moment was one of them, he felt like toal and utter shit for hurting Evan.

And hearing like little pained yelp had pretty much stopped his heart.

'Ow.... Dang it...' Evan thought miserably as he quietly walked into the locker room; hissing in pain as he slowly sat down on the bench.

Evan made a bad fall from the corner pole when the Miz pushed him, yelling out in pain when his back hit the metal steps and still continued to wrestle with the older man. Even in pain so he could properly finish the match and not call it quits too early. For he can't lose an opportunity like being on his very own Pay-Per-View match, or it will be his last for a long time.

Evan turned to look at the mirror that was conveniently behind him as he scanned his back. Evan hissed as he prodded at his back, 'Yup, definitely going to get a bruise later...' the high-flyer thought as he sighed to himself in the empty locker room.

Mike slowly entered the room, leaning on the door frame and simply staring at Evan with a lopsided frown fitting his plump pink lips. He was not so sure what exactly to say, he and Evan didn't talk very much but he had always admired the high flying man. Mike slowly let his eyes land on Evan, he kicked off from the door and slowly stepped over.

"Hey Evan..." He started quietly, his hand scratching the back of his neck nervously.

"About that match tonight....uh..." Mike's bright blue eyes found the angry red mark marring Evan's back, already starting to darken around the middle into an ugly black color that contrasted horribly with his perfect creamy skin. "Umm hows your back?"

Evan turned towards the voice behind him in shock, a glare present on his face when he noticed it was the Miz that was talking to him. But his glare softened when he noticed the worried/concerned expression on the older man's face.

The high flyer looked away as he sighed quietly to himself, "Not so great, thanks to you..." The younger man replied hotly as he tried to remove his boots off his feet.

Mike swallowed hard, frowning hard.
"I didn't mean to Evan, you know that right?" Mike tried to stay nice but he absolutely hated being snapped at by anyone.

The taller man toyed with his sweat bands, chewing his lip as he gazed down at Evan. The small man really was quite adorable...especially with that large smile he always wore down to the ring, Mike simply wanted to melt at that grin.

Evan stopped untying his boots as he listened to the Miz's some-what apology and sighed again as he tried, in vain, to remove his stubborn wrestling boots.

"I guess..." The high-flyer mumbled, groaning in pain as he tried to pull off the boots again for the third time.

"You guess? What do you think im out to get you or something? Contrary to popular belief im not in evil bastard trying to kill everyone Evan, I have a soul, im not that mean or anything, It was an accident..."

Mike frowned deeply, his eyes brows knitting together. Is this what people really thought he was like? Had he given that impression?

Evan hunched his shoulders forward as he sighed again, scratching at the back of his head as he slowly turned towards the Miz feeling even more guilty as he looked at the sad expression on his face.

"I'm sorry Mike," The high-flyer said as he gave up on taking off his boots, slowly got up from the bench, and retrieved his duffle bag filled with his street clothes from his locker, and walked towards the older man,"...I'm just hurt, a bit tired, and really frustrated right now... I hope you would forgive me..." Evan replied with tired looking grin.
