Behind the desk

John winked at Shawn, blowing him a kiss before leaning against the ropes, waiting for R-Truth to come out. He was still very much pissed at what had happened. The attacks... it cost him the championship. That was unforgivable.

When R-Truth came out he was none but happy. His best friend, ex-best friend, had cost him his shot at the title. This wasn't goign to be a match, this was going to be an assault and the lead pipe in his hands proved that. He ran for the ring, going right for John.

John didn't even have a chance to react as he was assaulted with a led pipe, Truth beating the living hell out of him. He slithered away, and managed to get a few kicks in but Truth had that pipe... and damn was he using it.

Shawn's eyes lit up with fury and in an instant he had grabbed a sledge hammer and went for R-Truth. The fans were screaming for him, the adrenaline and protective nature for the one he loved pumping through his veins. He wasn't going to stop until the refs pulled him off of Truth.

John groaned, his arm in fired. He crawled out of the ring, leaning against the announcers table, cradling his arms that had been smash against the pipe. He whimpered, wanting Shawn.

Shawn walked over to John, scooping him up bridal style and carrying him backstage and to the medic.


Nolee wanted to go with John and Shawn but she knew she couldn't. Part of her was glad that she had no reason to get in the ring...for the moment at least.

Once they were backstage, John let the tears go. "S-Shawn... h-hurts..." He whimpered as the medics tending his broken wrist and fractured forearm.

Shawn sighed, "You'll be fine...we'll get you some pain killers..."

John sniffled and nodded. They put a cast on John's arm before working on his knee, which had also been pretty banged up. They put a hinged knee brace on John before giving him some painkiller, then left him and Shawn alone. John let out a long breath. "Geeze, I take away a title opportunity and he tries to publicly kill me..." He murmured.

"Hey, I've been beat just as bad. And by Hunter no less." Shawn laughed.

John chuckled. "Yeah, that musta' been a bitch. But thanks for uh, pulling him off me." He said, observing his cast. "Ew, its ugly." He said, glaring at his cast.

Shawn smiled, "No problem. You would have done the same for me. And I think it's a good looking cast."


Nolee groaned as Micheal Cole left his press box to start yet another tirade about her father. She tried to drown it out, not wanting to hear it.

John smiled. "Only you would think my cast is good looking. And you're right, I would do the same for you... even if Hunter could squish me like a bug." He chuckled before looking up at the monitor. "C'mon Nolee, shut him up!" He urged, wishing his friend could hear him.

Shawn smiled, "Hunter and I are friends now."


Nolee sat there, anger silently stewing. She vowed to herself she wouldn't get up unless one of two things were brought up by the rat: herself or her grandmother.

Michael reveled in the booing of the crowd. "And Jerry... well Jerry is just a big disappointment. His mother messed him up, and he messed up and his jobber of a daughter." He said, smirking as he looked right at Nolee.

John winced but enjoyed it. "Bad move Cole." He chuckled. "And I don't think Hunter likes me much."

"Hunter doesn't like anyone!" laughed Shawn, "He tolerates them but doesn't like them."


Nolee glared, taking off her headset and gesturing for the mic as she got in the ring. "Micheal, Micheal, Micheal. You were doing fine insulting daddy. But then you brought me and Nana Rosie into this. Now you're fucked." she didn't care if it was a pg show or not. She slammed hte mic into his head, tackling him and beating him in the face with a fist.
