Behind the desk

John fell off his feet. He coughed a little for air. "Good, good." He said, getting up. "What else ya got? Any high flying moves?" He asked, brow raised. He enjoy flying through the air.

"Not a high flyer, I'm a brawler and a technician." she nodded.

John hummed. "Diva's nowadays... people want agility. Are you agile? Like my level agile or like... any type of basic high flying moves you know?" He asked.

Nolee frowned, "I don't do agility."

John pursed his lips. "Oh well. That sucks. Well then, show me what else you got." He said.

Nolee smiled, "I have a new finisher I want to try out. It's a roundhouse kick but afterwords I kiss the opponent on the lips. Prolly should try it on someone else thoug." she laughed.

John chuckled. "The Diva's might be stunned, but you can try it on me, it'll be fine. I know you wanna kiss these lips." He said, a sexy pout forming on his gorgeous lips.

Nolee laughed before she said, "Johnny, I don't fight diva's. I always fought with the men. And I do want to kiss those lips but Mikey is watching," she pointed to where Mike had stopped and was watching the two of them.

John raised a brow. "Maybe years ago doll, when you had wrestled. But not anymore." He chuckled. He went over to Mike, leaning through the ropes an kissing him. "Baby, do you mind if she kisses me real quick? It's just part of her finisher, You know your lips are so much better..." He purred.
Mike sighed but gave in. "Fine. One time, that's it." He said. John smiled and turned back to Nolee. "He's fine with it. So come at me." He said, getting ready for the kick.

Nolee looked at him dumbfounded, "What do you mean not anymore? I'm twice as strong as any diva. You felt my clothesline."

John shrugged. "It's illegal for men to go against women. Sure, woman can pin them, and can go against them only in a mixed tag team match." He said. "Like I said. We're different now. We're PG, not TV-14. The kinda Diva you wanna be, you belong in TNA." He chuckled.

Nolee backed out of the ring, sitting on the apron and putting her head in her hands trying to wrap her brain around what John had just told her. She couldn't fight men. Her entire career before had been about seeing how many men she could prove to that you didn't have to be a man to keep up with them and now all of that had been wiped clean.

John sighed and sat next her. "I know doll, it sucks.But when you have guys like Cena, or me or other babyfaces... it doesn't look good to children if we're wrestling woman. You have to stick to ypur fan base. That's what it revolves around. If women went against men, it's look unrealistic for a girl like you tin someone like John Cena. No one would believe it, even if it's true, ya know? I know you're stornger than the other Diva's... but this is how it now. Ya gotta adapt." He sighed.

"Whats it supposed to teach the other little girls? Not only male children watch this you know," Nolee asked, sounding disgusted with John. "When I was little, watching people like Chyna and Mae Young taught me men and women could clash in a company like this and survive. It teaches young girls that they don't have to be just pretty and fight with the other girls, it teaches them that they can be just as strong as any man."

John sighed. "Look, I understand how you feel. But I'm not the boss. Little girl these days... they're cheering for Superstars like me. And Creative knows it, they've done their research, talked to little kids. A lot has changed since you were here Nolee. I know it sounds bad, but... it's what everybody wants, including the little girls. You may not like what I have to say or how the business is, but that's how it is, Nolee. If I were in charge, I'd change the rules. But I'm not, and I'm sorry." He sighed before going over to Mike.

Nolee sat there, angry tears streaming her face. It wasn't fair. She had trained her whole life to take on the men. And now what? She was being told that diva's weren't a hot commodity anymore. That they were just pretty faces to fight other pretty faces. It stung her deep inside more than anything she had ever been told, except for everytime someone left her. She walked out of the room, leaving John to be with Mike. She needed a beer.

John sighed and watched Nolee go. He kissed Mike's cheek. "I should go make sure she doesn't do something stupid." He said. He changed back into his regular cloths before searching for Nolee, finding her at a bar. He sighed and sat next her. "Doll, getting shitfaced will not help." He sighed.

"Getting shitfaced will help, getting shitfaced always helps," Nolee didn't want to admit it but she had a bit of a drinking problem and that problem was once she got started, she couldn't stop.

John sighed and took the beer away from here, chugging it down in seconds. He could hold hi alcohol. "No, it doesn't. It makes things worse. Please don't do this, Nolee." He begged quietly, looking sadly at his best friend.

Nolee looked at him pissed, "Dammit, I wanted that beer!" she turned her back on him, grabbing another and starting to drink it.

John grabbed it from her mouth. "Stop dammit! I don't care if you get pissed at me. I;m not letting you get shitfaced!" He growled, pulling her out of the bar and shoving her in the car.

Nolee sat there, "Your whole life didn't just crumble before your eyes Johnny! You didn't hear that the one thing you trained for all your life will never happen a-" she remembered what he had said about gymnastics, "Johnny...I didn't mean that.."

John just shook his head and drove, not speaking. Gymnastics was his world, his everything. He had been through sweat and tears. What for? One one mistake. A second of hesitation landed him with a head injury. And at Nationals. He was about to go to the Olympics. But that had all been taken away. And it hurt him still to this day.

"Johnny, I didn't mean that. I forgot before I spoke, please don't be mad at me," she said, putting a hand on his shoulder, "I didn't mean to."

"It's fine." John said quietly, his eyes becoming misty. He knew Nolee didn't mean it. But whenever he thought of gymnastics... it hurt. he would never get gymnastics back. That dream was literally dead and gone.
